Coffee County’s swim team were impressive on Thursday night as both the Lady Raiders and Raiders went undefeated in the 10 team match at Marshall County. The ladies are 15-4 on the season with the boy’s record standing at 13-6. On Friday the Motlow College basketball teams traveled to Cleveland St. The Lady Bucks fought hard but dropped the conference game 62-55. In men’s play Motlow was playing with only 5 players because of a 2-game suspension of 7 players because of an altercation that took place in a game a week earlier. Coffee County hosted Fayetteville in high school basketball on Thursday night. In the first game the Lady Raiders took a big lead into the dressing room at halftime, leading 32-13. Tyger Fenton scored 12 of the 32 first half points. Coffee County spent most of the night at the free-throw line, shooting 22 of 40. The Lady Raiders improved to 2-2 on the season with the 69-38 win.
