Friday night at the Joe Frank Patch memorial gymnasium, Coffee County hosted Cannon County in high school basketball. It was a difficult night for both Raider teams as the girls lost 66-53 and the boys fell by a score of 67-45.
The Lady Raiders only trailed by three at the end of the 3rd quarter but saw Cannon County pull away in the 4th. Sara Brown had the hot hand for Coffee County finishing with 23 points earning her the Gateway Tire and Service Center player of the game.

In boy’s action the Raiders fell behind by 14 at halftime and the Lions would stay steady in the 2nd half for the non-district win.
Wyatt Day pumped in 19 the lead the 2-3 Raiders. Day was named the player of the game.
