Coffee County hosted Fayetteville in high school basketball on Thursday night. In the first game the Lady Raiders took a big lead into the dressing room at halftime, leading 32-13. Tyger Fenton scored 12 of the 32 first half points. Coffee County spent most of the night at the free-throw line, shooting 22 of 40.
The Lady Raiders improved to 2-2 on the season with the 69-38 win. Fenton led the scoring with her 12 in the first half as 14 players scored. Sara Brown was named the Gateway Tire and Service Center player of the game as she scored 11. Aerial Williams also added 11.

Last year when the Tigers and Raiders met in boy’s action Coffee County fell behind by 20 but came from behind to win. Last night the Raiders were down by 15 at the half and dropped the game to the Tigers by 24, 69-45.
J.P. Duncan led the Raiders in scoring with 11 off the bench and earned the player of the game.
