Motorhome Burns On I-24

A blazing motorhome fire on eastbound I-24, between Beechgrove and Manchester shutdown traffic on I-24. It’s not clear what happened, but the incident occurred around 5:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon, October 18, 2014. Prior to the Coffee County authorities arriving on the scene, a slow stream vehicles passed within 10-feet of the inferno. If someone slowed to a stop, the drivers behind them started honking. All of the time, you could hear explosions from within the motorhome–each causing the flames to get higher and wider across the adjacent lanes of traffic. Early Voting has already begun in Manchester and will continue to run now through October 30th. Locations for early voting include the Coffee County Election Commission in Manchester and the CD Stamps Center in Tullahoma. Remember you must bring a TN or Federal ID with you in order to vote. 2015 Bonnaroo Set For June 11-14

The 2015 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival will be held June 11-14. The 2015 festival will mark the 13th Bonnnroo, all of which have taken place on farmland in Coffee County. Ticket prices and a limited number of early tickets are not expected to go on sale until December. Performers for the festival have traditionally been announced in February with regular tickets going on sale shortly thereafter. Scam Alert: Delinquent Utility Bill Phone Call

The Tullahoma Police Department was recently notified by several local businesses and TUB of a phone scam claiming to be a local Utility Department. The caller is advising that the business has a delinquent account with a utility company other than the one which provides them service, and the account balance must be paid to prevent termination of services. Winchester Man Killed In Mortorcycle Crash

A 72-year old man has been identified as the victim in an accident on I-24 Thursday morning. Tennessee Highway Patrol reports that Earl Winn of Winchester, TN died when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a tractor trailer. THP says the call came in around 9:15 a.m. CST. The accident happened around mile marker 165 which is near the Marion County, TN /Dade County, GA line.
