Two goals in the first 8 minutes and a supportive home crowd were not enough to keep the Coffee County CHS soccer team season alive as they dropped a 3 to 2 decision to Lincoln County on Saturday night in the 1st round of the District 8-AAA soccer tournament. Lincoln County’s Caragon Treola cut the lead in half 3 minutes later from the right wing and that 2 to 1 score held up until halftime. Lincoln County managed to tie the score in the 47th minute as Coffee County deflected a Lincoln County shot past Lady Raider keeper Ali Shelton off of a set piece.
