A 3rd place finish in his 110M high hurdle section race was not enough to lift Kani Johnson to the medal stand on Friday afternoon at the TSSAA Spring Fling state track meet at MTSU. Former Motlow College women’s basketball player Sabrina Jackson recently announced that she will continue her career as a student-athlete at Kentucky State University in Frankfort. Jackson, a 6-1 forward who came to Lynchburg from Seneca High School in Louisville, Ky., spent two seasons as a Lady Buck before graduating from Motlow May 9. She averaged 12 points, eight rebounds, two assists and three blocked shots per game during her sophomore season after averaging 6.5 points and five rebounds her freshman year. Former Motlow Lady Buck basketball player Chloe Neil recently announced she will continue her career as a student-athlete at West Georgia University in Carrollton, Ga., after graduating from Motlow May 9.
