The Motlow Bucks will face the host school, Georgia Perimeter, in the opening round of the NJCAA East Central District baseball tournament on Thursday, May 15 at 2:30 p.m. central time at Jaguar Baseball Stadium in Covington, Ga.
The four-team tournament will decide the East Central representative in the upcoming National Junior College Athletic Association JUCO World Series, scheduled for May 24-31 in Grand Junction, Co.
The Bucks with 40 wins this season is the most since Motlow won 41 games in 2005 and only the second time a Motlow baseball team has won 40 or more games since the 2000 season. There have been seven teams in Motlow baseball history that have won 40 or more games in a season, with the 2000 squad holding the school record with 57 wins.
