The Coffee County Middle School tennis team hosted their first match of the season on Monday as they welcomed Harris to their home court at the Raider Academy. The Red Raiders got the first win in program history as they beat the Eagles 3 to 2. Joseph Sadler and Luke Irwin each captured singles victories and combined for the deciding point in a doubles match win. The Lady Raiders fell 3 to 2 to Harris. Jayda Wright and Alise Clark captured singles wins for Coffee County’s points in girls’ play. The middle school netters are off until Monday when they play host to Tullahoma at the Raider Academy courts. First serve is set for 4 PM.
