Pennelope M. Winsett
Pennelope M. Winsett of Fayetteville passed this life on Sunday, March 13,
2022 at her residence at the age of 62. No services are scheduled.
A native of Manchester, TN, she was the daughter of the late Henry Alfred
and Bonnie Watson. She enjoyed gardening and raising and training Dachshund
Service Dogs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Terrance
Smith; daughter, Tara Smith; brother, Henry Alfred Watson Jr. and sisters,
Melody Star and Melissa Watson.
Mrs. Winsett is survived by husband, Kenneth Winsett of Fayetteville; sons,
Bobby Main of Nebraska, Joshua Lee and Jason Ferris Winsett, both of
Fayetteville and Brett Nelson Winsett; daughters, Paula Janene Harvell of
Fayetteville and Maraya Winsett; five grandchildren and one great
grandchild.

Marilyn J Carey
Marilyn J Carey of Tullahoma, TN passed this life on Sunday, March 13,
2022, at her residence at the age of 91. Graveside Services are scheduled
for Thursday, March 17, at 12 Noon at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The
family will receive friends from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM on Thursday, March 17
at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
A native of Olean, NY, Mrs. Carey was the daughter of the late John
Hamilton and Helen Hollander Schnell. She was a member of St. Paul the
Apostle Catholic Church in Tullahoma. Mrs. Carey was an avid reader and
enjoyed fishing, traveling and sewing. She loved being outdoors gardening
or visiting the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Donna
Robbins; grandson, Michael Lynn and son-in-law, Jack Lynn.
She is survived by her husband, Clayton F. Carey of Tullahoma; daughters,
Linda Carey, Marla J. Lynn, Paula Jo “P J” Carey and Laura Wiser (Danny),
all of Tullahoma; sister, Jackie Gatuso of Olean, NY; five grandchildren
and six great grandchildren.

Frieda Gretchen Schultz
A celebration of life for Mrs. Frieda Gretchen Schultz, age 73 of Manchester, will be conducted at 3:00PM on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until the time of services at the funeral home. Mrs. Schultz passed from this life on Friday, March 4, 2022, at her residence in Manchester, TN.
Gretchen was born in Salzwedel, Germany on March 15, 1948, the daughter of the late Karl and Frieda Hasart. Gretchen previously lived in Stuttgart, Germany, Berlin, Germany, and West Chicago, Illinois before residing in Manchester, TN. She attended Konigin-Katharina-Stitt Gymnasium, Ludwigsburg University of Education receiving her Teacher’s Certificate, Free University of Berlin receiving her Advanced Teaching Certification, and then Northern Illinois University where she received her master’s degree in German Literature. Upon receiving her teaching certificates and degrees, Gretchen taught for seven years at Nazereth Academy and Naperville Central High School for sixteen years. Gretchen had a love for teaching and for her students, but in her spare time she had a love for horses. She enjoyed horseback riding, jumping, and showing. Gretchen was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Gretchen is preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Frieda Hasart. She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Larry Schultz; son, Daniel Schultz (Beth); daughter, Jessica Schultz (Keith); granddaughter, Emily Rose Schultz; three older sisters, Gerda Voelker, Waltraud Wenz, and Karin Ruf-Walczak; numerous nieces and nephews both in the United States and Germany.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Gretchen’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Donnie Edward Quinn
Funeral services for Donnie Edward Quinn, age 46 of Manchester, will be conducted on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at 2 PM in the Manchester Funeral Home chapel. Burial will immediately follow in the Hopewell cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 6 – 8 PM and on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of service. Donnie passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, March 7.
Donnie was born on September 18, 1975, to the late William Terry Quinn and Josephine Marie Floyd Smith, in Wayne County, MI. He enjoyed working out and watching TN Titans football and the UT Vols football, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren. Donnie had recently been attending church at the Living Word church in McMinnville with his mother, Josephine.
Along with his mother, Josephine, Donnie is survived by his daughters, Breanna Quinn (Gary Dodson), and Brittany Spears (Will); grandchildren, Kayden, Rylan, and Kylie Dodson; sister, Kelly Cassel (Eric); nieces, Katelyn Carben, and Abigail Cassel; nephew, William Quinn; extended family members and a host of friends.

Maymie Ruth Jones

Mrs. Maymie Ruth Jones, age 80, of Morrison, TN,
passed from this life on Monday, March 7, 2022, in Morrison, TN. Mrs. Jones
was born in Manchester, TN, to her late parents Lemuel Estill Jones and
Loda Loene Brown Jones on March 13, 1941. On May 31, 1972, she married her
husband of 49 years, Billy Joe Jones. Her and her husband are both members
of Turning Point Pentecostal Church in McMinnville, TN. She loved her
grandkids and great grandkids and enjoyed family gatherings. Mrs. Jones was
a loving mother, step-mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by a son, Kennie Jones and son-in-law, Clifford
Wellman. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Billy Jones; children,
Tammie Wellman, Donnie Newman, Terry Newman, Franklin Curtis (Cindy Eskew)
Cargile Jr., Sheila (Quinn) Lightfoot; daughter-in-law, Angie Jones;
special grandson, Bradley Williams; grandchildren, Jeremy Wellman, Shannon
Wellman, Savannah Anderson, Shana Cargile, Beth Wanamaker, Corey Newman,
Angel Shute, Andrew Newman, Tabitha Jackson, Wesley Phelps, Brittany
Conner, Johnny Jones, Melissa Jones, Nathan Jones, Austin Jones, Ryan
Jones, Seth Jones; 20 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will
be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Central

Ricky Leon Espy
Mr. Ricky Leon Espy, age 65, of Beechgrove, TN,
passed from this life on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in Manchester, TN.
Mr. Espy was born in Coffee Co., TN to his late parents Herbert Espy and
Mattie Green Espy. He was a factory worker for Nissan for many years. In
addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Thurman
Espy, Louis Espy Collins, and James Espy.
Mr. Espy is survived by a brother, Jesse Espy and many other extended
family.
Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, from

Dorothy M. Scott

Dorothy M. Scott, age 68, passed away Sunday, March
6, 2022. Dorothy was born in LaGrange, Indiana to the late Willis and Doris
Kitchen on December 31, 1953. She and her husband, Larry, owned the
Manchester Farm Center. Dorothy was known by many to be genuine, humble,
selfless, and caring. Although, she could sometimes be set in her ways or
want things done a particular way. She was feisty and determined but had a
sweet, silly side as well. Never needing things to be over-the-top, she
loved the life they created. She will be remembered as having the biggest
Servant’s heart with a beautiful smile who gave the best hugs. She adored
the Lord and lived her life to serve Him. And she loved her sweet husband,
family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her Church family. She was
always one to give back to others and counsel people during their tough
times. She enjoyed working in her flower beds and was always sharing her
plants with folks. She loved animals, especially her horse, Lightning, and
their cat, Sam-A-Roo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by one brother, Charles Kitchen and one sister, Janice K. Niece. She is
survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Larry Scott; two children,
Nathan (Judy) Rickett; Karen (Bill) Pfluge; and Bethany Tackett a close
cousin; four grandchildren, Brooke Mann, Johnathan Mann, Alivia Rickett,
and Sarah Rickett; three great grandchildren, Bentley Mann, Myrä Jo Mann &
Wyatt Worth. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 4-6pm
with a Celebration of Life service at 6pm at First Baptist Church in
Manchester with Dr. Brenton Cox officiating. Graveside service will be held
Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2:30pm at Calvary Cemetery, 1001 Lebanon Pike,

David G. Harmon
David G. Harmon of Manchester passed this life on Thursday, March 10, 2022
at his residence at the age of 82. Graveside services are scheduled for
Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 2 PM at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
A native of Coffee County, he was a member of East Main St. Church of
Christ in Manchester. He served in the U S Army and was a Firefighter for
the city of Manchester and later for AEDC. He was also a Shriner, a 26-year
member of the American Legion and a past Manchester city alderman. He
enjoyed traveling and visiting with people as well as riding and working on
motorcycles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susie A.
Harmon. He is survived by daughter, Kristy Roberts (Bryan) of Panama City,
FL; brothers, William Harmon (Donna) of Manchester and James Harmon (Pat)
of Tullahoma; granddaughter, Lana Whale (Jack) of Lewisburg and great
grandchild, Piper Whaley.

Brenda Jo Riddle
Ms. Brenda Jo Riddle, age 76 years, 11 months, and 1 day, was born on March
30, 1945, in Manchester, TN, to the late Joe Dillard “J.D” and Jo Nell
Crawford Riddle. She was the owner/operator of Interstate Liquors in
Manchester. Brenda enjoyed playing cards, taking trips with family and
friends, cooking for her family, and her flowers, especially her tulips.
In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her brother,
Rodney N. Riddle, and brother-in-law, Mark Lundquist. She is survived by
her son, Jeffery D. Ridner; daughter, Tammy Harrington and her husband,
Richard; grandson, Nolan Ridner and his mother, Lindsay; brother, James D.
Riddle and his wife, Pam; sisters Janice Riddle, and Lee Ann Riddle
Lundquist; sister-in-law, Pam Riddle; special grand-dogs, Shelby and Bella;
several cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members, and a host
of friends.
*A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at
Manchester Funeral Home from 1 – 4 PM.*

Paul Daniel Dotson
Mr. Paul Daniel Dotson, age 78, of Manchester, TN,
passed from this life on Thursday, March 3, 2022, in Manchester, TN.
Mr. Dotson was born in Nashville, TN to his late parents Leslie James
Dotson and Mary Margaret Stratton Dotson. He was a veteran of the United
States Army. In addition to his parents, we was preceded in death by wife,
Nina Dotson and brothers, James Dotson and William Dotson.
Mr. Dotson is survived by siblings, Eugene Dotson, Shirley McCoy, Bobby
Dotson, Wilma Perry and Wanda Holland, all residents of Tennessee.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, March
9, 2022, at 1:00pm at the Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
Interment will follow military honors.
