Funeral services for Mr. James Harold Crabtree, age 67, of Manchester, will be conducted at 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Horace Lee Jacobs officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 2:00 PM until time of service. Mr. Crabtree passed away Wednesday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Mr. Crabtree was born in Manchester, TN, the son of the late James Monroe and Willie Mae Perry Crabtree. He was a retired truck driver for ABF Freight. James enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, gardening, landscaping, and Nascar.
James is survived by his loving wife of 15 ½ years, Valerie Klota Crabtree of Manchester; one son, Jeff (Janet) Crabtee of South Bend, IN; one daughter, Shannan Crabtree of South Bend, IN; one brother, William (Lila) Crabtree of Manchester; one sister, Freda (Barry) Driver of Wartrace; five grandchildren, Tarren Rauen, Aiden Johnson, and Dylan, Brenden, and Carly Crabtree; and several nieces and nephews.
