The Westwood Rockets closed out the regular season at home on Saturday with a 9 to 5 loss at the hands of Community. The Rockets jumped out to a 4 to 1 lead after the 1st inning behind 4 hits to open the bottom of the first inning. Skylar Bratcher had a 2 RBI double and Dylan Koon knocked in Bratcher and scored later in the inning to give Westwood a great start. The visiting Vikings scored runs in the 3rd, 4th and 5th innings to capture the come from behind win. Bratcher finished the game going 3 for 4 with 3 RBI to lead the Westwood hitting attack. Jacob Garms had a pair of singles and scored twice for the Rockets. Westwood will begin postseason play on April 28th when they open play in the Duck River Valley Conference Tournament. The play-in round will be held at the site of the higher seeded team before the tournament concludes at Liberty.
