The Westwood boys fell behind 14 to 8 in the first quarter and could never overcome the hot shooting of Forrest as they fell 51 to 30. Forrest had seven 3 pointers on the night, including 3 in the 4th quarter to quell any Westwood comeback attempt. Westwood was led in scoring by Marcus Pendleton who had 12 points while Chase Simpkins added 6 points and Jake Hollandsworth added 5. Westwood will be back in action on Thursday night as they play host to Liberty. The girl’s game will begin at 6:00 PM at the Joel Vinson Gym.
