Raiders Fall To Pope John Paull II

On Monday night the Coffee County Red Raider baseball team traveled to Hendersonville to take on Pope John Paul II School.
The Knights jumped to an early 3-0 after the first inning and they added another run for a 4-0 advantage after 4. The Raiders battled back to cut the lead to 4-3 in the 5th. Zach Holmes knocked in 2 runs and JP Duncan added an RBI. Despite those efforts Pope John Paul II School went on to win the non-district game, 4-3.
Kohl Young took the hard luck loss for Coffee County.
The Raiders will travel to Lincoln County on Wednesday for a 6pm first-pitch. The winner of this game will advance to the District 8-AAA baseball double elimination tournament. The season will end for the loser. Thunder Radio will have the broadcast starting at 5:50pm.
