Motlow Bucks head basketball coach Matt Sligh and his staff will host a basketball skills camp on June 16 and 17 inside Nisbett Center on the Motlow College Moore County campus. Tyler Drake and Mikayla Dickson, both four year lettermen with the Claybusters signed on with Red Hawks shooting team. Despite a personal best in the high jump and a number 1 finish in the shot put, Coffee County Lady Raider Haley Banks could not finish aboard the medal platform for the Pentathlon at the TSSAA Spring Fling state track meet on Monday. The Union University baseball team had four players to receive National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) MidEast Region honors. Earning Honorable Mention was Samuel Davis, a 6-foot junior pitcher from Manchester, Tenn., was 3-3 on the season for Union with a 4.34 ERA. He tossed 56 innings, striking out 54 hitters and walking 35. Opponents hit just .205 versus Davis this season. Davis transferred to Union in Jackson, TN from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he played one season of baseball.
