Coffee County Central football battled the heat and the Moore County Blue Raiders Tuesday for a little 7-on-7 passing action at Carden-Jarrell Field in Manchester. There was no score kept. Evans named Main Street Preps All-Midstate Softball Team
Coffee County Central Lady Raider Olivia Evans has racked up another postseason honor. Earlier this month, Evans was named to the Tennessee Softball Coaches Association Midstate All-Star Team – an honor that culminated in her playing in a series of games on Tuesday, June 14. Now Evans has picked up another postseason accolade. She was named Third Team All Mid-State by Main Street Preps. Evans was consistently on base for the Lady Raiders this spring. Shelbyville football coach Puckett steps down
One of Coffee County Central’s region opponents is without a head football coach and the season is just 67 days away. Shelbyville Central head football coach Josh Puckett resigned on Monday (June 13, 2022). Puckett is taking the head baseball job at Haywood County, where he will also serve as an assistant football coach. Puckett posted a 12-9 record during two seasons at Shelbyville after winning a class 1A state title at Lake County in 2019.
