Franklin County’s girls basketball program has been placed on two years’ probation for a violation of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association recruiting rule. Franklin County took 10 players from North and South middle schools in Winchester on the team bus to the District 8-AAA tournament at Lawrence County on two nights, the TSSAA said. During the first year of probation the TSSAA will not allow Franklin County to practice with other teams during the summer. The Nashville Predators goaltender was summoned into unexpected duty early in the third period when his backup Anders Lindback was hurt on a collision.
