Sophomore catcher Taylor Follis raced home with the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning Saturday to give the Motlow Bucks a 9-8 win over the visiting Cleveland State Cougars at the Driver Baseball Complex.
The victory came on the heels of a wild Friday doubleheader split between the two TCCAA rivals that featured extra innings in both games, with the visitors winning the opener 5-3 in eight innings and the Bucks coming back from a 6-1 deficit to win the nightcap 7-6 in 12 innings.
Motlow (26-16, 7-11) are now tied in the TCCAA standings with Cleveland State (23-15, 7-11).
