Bree Horner led the Motlow Lady Bucks in scoring with 10 pts. Lauren Brown & Erin Layne added 9 each in the 87-62 loss to Roane St. on Friday night at Motlow College.
On Saturday the Lady Bucks lost to the nation’s 20th ranked Wallace St Lady Senators, 69-41. Sabrina Jackson led Motlow with 11 and Horner added 10.
The Motlow men defeated Roane St. 119-85. Clint Nwosuh leads the Bucks in scoring with 32 points. Jaylen Barford chipped in with 23.
On Saturday the Bucks fought off Wallace St to move to 11-1 on the season with a 74-69 conference win. The Senators held All-American DeQuan Miller to 3 points (all free-throws) and Clint Nwosuh to zero points but Terry Holt stepped up with 24 and Jaylen Barford added 19.
Motlow has no games this week.
