The Coffee County Youth Basketball League tipped off their post season tournament on Saturday at Coffee County CHS’ Joe Frank Patch Memorial Gymnasium. Each of the higher seeded teams advanced to the semifinals in both boys and girls divisions that will be played on Saturday beginning at 9:00 AM. In Girls action:
Hillsboro grounded Hickerson 21 to 6
Westwood stopped East Coffee 47 to 2
New Union overcame Deerfield 27 to 12
North Coffee derailed College Street 18 to 5
Westwood and East Coffee battle in elementary tournament action on Saturday. Westwood won by a final score of 37 to 8
In Boys play:
College Street trimmed Hickerson 47 to 8
Westwood downed East Coffee 37 to 8
New Union bested Hillsboro 23 to 3
Deerfield dropped North Coffee 30 to 18.
