David Tate got a pin of Tullahoma’s Bryce Triplett to earn the only points for the CHS grapplers as the Raiders fell to the Wildcats 78 to 6. The dual match, played before the Tullahoma student body on Wednesday afternoon, was the second match for Coffee County in 2 days and one of 4 matches this week.
Coming off his 2 pin performance on Tuesday night at home, Tate continued his strong showing this season as he bested Triplett at 3:54 of his 138 pound match. The Raiders will be back at home on Friday night as they welcome Stewarts Creek and Lawrence County to the Joe Frank Patch Memorial Gym for a 6 PM 3-way meet. The Raiders travel to Mt. Juliet on Saturday for the Mt. Juliet Duals. The first match is set to begin at 9 AM.
