Coming off a pair of convincing wins last week, the CHS tennis team traveled to Columbia on Monday to take on the Columbia Lions in district action. The defending district champion Lions made quick work of Coffee County getting the 6 to 1 win over the Red Raiders. Will Davis had the lone win for the Raiders in his singles match. The Lady Raiders battled to a 5 to 2 win getting 4 wins in singles play from Maddie Taylor, Kayla Wright, Makayla Morgan and Natalie Elzeer. Morgan teamed with Anna Harrell to claim a doubles win. The Raiders and Lady Raiders travel to Lawrenceburg on Thursday night to take on Lawrence County in a district match. First serve is scheduled for 4 PM.
