The Coffee County Middle School Lady Raiders closed out the pre-Christmas portion of their schedule on Monday night with a 47 to 27 conference win over Warren County. The Lady Raiders outscored the Lady Pioneers 24 to 6 in the first half to improve their season record to 11 and 0. Julia Duncan led all scorers as she poured in 25 points. Bella Vinson added 6 points and Jenna Garretson netted 5 for the Lady Raiders.

A 14 point 4th quarter by the Coffee County boys was not enough to hold off a 2nd half Pioneer rally as the Red Raiders fell to Warren County 38 to 30. After keeping the strong inside game of Warren County in check in the first half, the Pioneers exploded for 30 points in the second half to stun the Raiders. Brandon Jernigan led Coffee in scoring with 20 points. Blanton Brown and Jaxon Vaughn each netted 4 points as the Red Raiders fell to 4 and 7 on the year. Coffee County is off until Monday, January 4th when they play host to White County. The girls game will tip off at 6 PM.
