A 2 run rally in the 6th inning helped the Coffee County Middle School baseball team avenge a Monday loss to North Franklin as the Raiders won 3 to 1 on Tuesday night at CCMS. Garrett Davis got the starting nod for Coffee County and pitched 6 1/3 innings to get the win. At the plate, Davis was 1 for 2 with 2 runs scored. Hayden Skipper had an RBI double for Coffee County in the 6th as he drove home Davis with the winning run and scored an insurance run on a throwing error by the pitcher. Brandon Jernigan came on in relief in the 7th inning to earn the save. The Raider baseball team will be off until Friday when they play host to Boyd Christian. First pitch is set for 5 PM at CCMS.
