Westwood pitcher Haidyn Campbell
Haidyn Campbell struck out 15 batters and gave up only 1 walk as the Westwood Lady Rocket softball claimed a 12 to 5 win at Huntland on Tuesday night. Offensively, Westwood was led by Faith Willoughby who was 3 for 4 on the night with 2 doubles and 4 RBI. Campbell was 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. The win, which is the 2nd in a row for the Lady Rockets and the 3rd in their last 4 games, raises Westwood’s conference record to 3 and 4 facing a Wednesday road trip to Wartrace. The Lady Rockets will take on Cascade on Wednesday with the first pitch is set for 5 PM.
