Manchester Police Investigator Jonathan Anthony arrested Baron Luderick Clabaugh age 29 of Anthony Lane Shelbyville on Thursday with Manufacturing/delivering/selling/possession of a controlled substance. Manchester Police Sergeant Devin DeFord responded to McDonald’s on the Hillsboro Highway early Friday morning in reference to a possible impaired driver in the drive-thru. DeFord made contact with the driver and says the man allegedly had a very strong odor of intoxicant, slurred speech and was very aggressive towards the officer. The Franklin County Commission has unanimously approved to allow Winchester’s Phoenix Boats to purchase 42 acres of “pad ready” land in the county’s Industrial Park. The commission agreed to sell the land for $147,000. The boat manufacturer already has a plant in Winchester. Phoenix Boats’ new building will be about 150,000 square feet in size.
