9/3/12 — Grady Paul Teal
Grady Paul Teal, age 80 of Morrison , Tennessee, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.
He was a retired Quality Assurance Inspector wirh the Ford Motor Company.
He was born on August 8, 1932 in Coffee County, TN to his parents, the late Loyd Teal and Jewel Freeze Teal. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Riley Teal and sisters, Faye Marlow and Mildred Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Elsie Mae Floyd Teal of Morrison, TN; sons, Sidney Teal and his wife Golden of Parsons, TN and Robert Teal and his wife Penny of Shelbyville, TN; a sister, JoAnn Robinson of Missouri; two brothers, Ray Teal and Coy Teal both of Manchester, TN; three grandchildren, Grady (Jesse) Teal, Brandon Teal and Karen Mae Teal all of Shelbyville, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, September 2, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester.
The Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Central Funeral Home with Brother Glendon Cantrell, Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the Shady Grove Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mr. Jackie Gordon McBride, age 61 of Tullahoma, will be conducted Monday, September 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Horace Lee Jacobs officiating.
Burial will follow at Lusk Cemetery in Manchester.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, September 2, 2012 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. McBride passed away Friday, August 31, 2012 at Harton Hospital in Tullahoma.
Mr. McBride was born July 29, 1951 in Warren County, Tennessee, the son of the late Gordon Willis and the late Mattie McBride.
He was a certified welder and belonged to the Local 454 Boilermaker Union. He had worked in the Construction industry and had worked at AEDC for many years. He served in the National Guard and was a member of Mt. View Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends and collecting older metal toys.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Herman Allenbaugh; brother-in-law, Max Duke and great grandchild Easton Jace Norman.
Mr. McBride is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Lusk McBride of Tullahoma; one son, Kenny Jernigan and his wife, Tamie of Murfreesboro; two daughters, Tina Ann Lawson and her husband, Mark of Estill Springs and Kimberly Michelle Clevenger and her husband, Damon of Tullahoma; eight grandchildren, Trey and Nikki Venable; Casey and Savanna Jernigan and Kristyn, Kimee, Nic, and Kaedin Clevenger; one sister, Evelyn G. Duke of Manchester; niece, Donna Strickland of Manchester; great niece Tracy Strickland of Manchester and great great nephew, Trey Bigsby of Manchester and numerous other family members and loving friends.

9/3/12 — Alfred Junior Loeffler
Funeral services for Mr. Alfred Junior Loeffler, age 87, of Manchester, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 3, 2012 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 2 at the funeral home.
Mr. Loeffler passed away on Friday morning at Harton Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Loeffler was born in Petersburg, IL. He was a general foreman for Caterpillar and also was a bus driver for Coffee County Schools for 18 years, as well as worked at the Coffee County Livestock barn.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Loeffler was also preceded in death by three brothers and sisters.
Mr. Loeffler is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jane Clark Loeffler of Manchester; one son, Travis Loeffler of Manchester; one daughter, Debbie (Bruce) Weiman of Fisher, IL; and one granddaughter, Katie Weiman.

9/2/12 — Ruby Dill Ristvedt
Ruby Dill Ristvedt, age 86, a native of Murfreesboro, passed away August 30th at the home of her daughter, Laura Ristvedt in LaVergne, TN.
A 1944 Murfreesboro Central High School graduate, she attended David Lipscomb College for three years and graduated from Middle Tennessee State College in 1948. She taught High School in Ingleside, TX for two years before returning to teach in Rutherford County. Marrying her husband, “Risty”, of 51 years in 1953, she started her family in Nashville and taught at Glenview Elementary until moving to Manchester, TN in 1965. She served as the Coffee County Lunchroom Supervisor until her retirement in 1978.
Besides being a loving mother and devoted wife, she served at many levels in professional organizations including President of the Manchester Business and Professional Women’s Club. She devoted much time to local charities and performed volunteer work at local schools and the Horizon Health and Rehab Center. She also taught Adult G.E.D. classes. Her Church family was very important to her. She was a faithful member of Wingate Church of Christ Nashville for nine years and of Red Hill Church of Christ Manchester for over 40 years. In recent years she was a member of Stewarts Creek Church of Christ, LaVergne.
A talented cook, family historian, artist and great storyteller, she along with her sister, Idabel, could entertain the family for hours with hilarious antedotes of their lives. She had a way of putting everyone at ease and will always be remembered for her warm smile.
She is preceeded in death by parents, John Elwood Dill, and Laura Ryan Dill, beloved husband Victor Gore Ristvedt Sr., infant daughter Bonnie Bell Ristvedt and sisters Idabel Dill Swafford and Mary Louise Dill.
She is survived by her brother James (Marlene) Dill of Murfreesboro, Sister-in-Law Blanche Ristvedt Sandas, Merrill WI., Brother-in-Law Ralph Hies, Milwaukee, WI. daughter Laura Ristvedt of LaVergne, sons Mark (Oressa) Ristvedt of Mt. Carmel, Indiana and Victor (Julie) Ristvedt Jr. of Murfreesboro. Grandchildren Catherine Johnston, Trista Ristvedt and husband Stephen Truempy, Travis (McKinsie) Ristvedt, Allison Ristvedt, one Great Granddaughter, Riley Ristvedt, and beloved nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ristvedt’s family would like to express their appreciation for the compassionate care of the staff from Asera Care Hospice and @Home Care.
Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home.
A chapel service will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Jennings & Ayers with Greg Vick officiating.

9/2/12 — Margarette Louise George McDonald
Margarette Louise George McDonald, age 76 of Winchester, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center.
Ms. McDonald is preceded in death by her mother Ruth Catherine Shelton and Raymon M. George; husband Leon McDonald in 1979.
She is survived by her son, Philip McDonald of Cowan and a sister, Doris Ann Walton of Your, AL.; numerous nieces and nephews.
A native of Tuscaloosa, AL she was raised in York, Alabama. She was a 1954 graduate of Sumter County High School and attended business college in Meridian, MS. She later worked as a clerk/typist for Reliable Chevrolet and the State of Alabama Welfare Department. In 1963 she married her high school Sweetheart, Leon McDonald and they began their life together in Cowan, TN. She had been a member of the Cowan First Baptist Church since that time. She was a very talented sales clerk and worked at T G & Y and at Hammers. She loved meeting people and will be remembered as taking a very special interest in all her customers.
Visitation will be Friday August 31, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at Cowan First Baptist Church.
The funeral service will conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday September 1, 2012 from Cowan First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Brown and Rev. L.Z. Johnson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Joe Ed Williams, Bobby Clark, Coyle Coulson, Eddie Clark and Clyde Bennett.
The family will gather for a graveside service at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in York, AL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Cowan First Baptist Church Building Fund.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dottie M. Walden, age 92, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Buddy Leon Cornelison officiating.
Burial will follow in Ragsdale Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, August 31 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Walden passed away Thursday at her residence.
Mrs. Walden was born in Coffee County, TN, the daughter of the late Richard Lee and Mary Gertrude Brasfield Baltimore.
She was a seamstress at Eden Industries and attended the Redeemer’s House of Prayer.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Carl Walden; one son, Richard Walden; two brothers, Earnest Lee Baltimore and Albert Dayton Baltimore; and two grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Ronnie Dale Walden of Manchester; two daughters, Betty (James) McCormick of Manchester and Louise (Eugene) Slatton of Hillsboro; two sisters, Iona Bell Cornelison and Emma Jane Wilhoit; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 13 great, great grandchildren.

Mrs. Reavis passed away, Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in Manchester.
Mrs. Reavis was born November 5, 1924 in Cleveland, Tennessee, the daughter of the late William Luther and Nancy Jane Jones Woody.
She was a homemaker and a member of the New Union Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and tending to her roses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnson Paul Reavis, Jr., two sons Terry Randall Reavis and William David Reavis and step-mother Jeston Finney Woody.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Jane Owen and her husband, Tim of Fairhope, Alabama and Paulette White and her husband, Elliot of Manchester; one brother, Jimmy Woody and his wife, Charlotte of Prescott, Arkansas; eighteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Lester Herman Denton, age 82 of Belvidere, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at his residence.
He was a dairy farmer and truck driver.
Preceding him in death were his parents, W. D. Denton and Beulah Kyle Denton and a brother, Tom Denton.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Feller Denton of Belvidere; daughters, Leah (Kelly) Prater of McMinnville and Joy (Lamar) Howard of Belvidere; son, Myron (Lydia) Denton of Belvidere; sister, Frances Hall of Winchester; brother, Harold Denton of Winchester; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation is 5-8 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, August 31, 2012 in Moore-Cortner Chapel with Chaplain Richard Barger officiating.
Interment will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
