11/21/14 —– Joseph Carden McMillan, Jr.
Mr. Joseph Carden McMillan, Jr., age 67 of Wartrace, Tennessee passed away, Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Heritage Medical Center in Shelbyville, Tennessee.
Funeral service will held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Daves Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation with the family will be 11:00 AM until time of service.
Burial will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester, Tennessee.
A native of Coffee County he was the son of the late Joseph McMillan, Sr. and Susanna Stufflefield McMillan.
Mr. McMillan retired from self- employment. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed dirt races, fishing and spending time with his family.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Kimberly Gault McMillan of Wartrace, two daughters; Renee King and husband Chad of Winchester, Marilyn Williams and husband Randy of Manchester; one step-son; Chris Havens of Tullahoma, one step-daughter; Rebecca Wright and husband Chris of Fayetteville, Tennessee and 11 grandchildren; three brothers; Ike McMillan and wife Bobbie of Normandy, Mark McMillan of Tullahoma and Luke McMillan and wife Pam of Tullahoma; one sister; Susan McMillan Williams and husband David of Rome, Georgia; three nephews; Rodney McMillan, Michael McMillan and Brandon McMillan; three nieces; Mendy Stansell, Beth Durrent and Claire Williams.
11/22/14 — Mary Louise McDill
Mary Louise McDill, of Manchester, formerly of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, November 19th, 2014 at her residence at the age of 76.
Mrs. McDill was born in Scott County Mississippi to the late J.L. and Fannie Turner Brown and was a member of First Baptist Church in Tullahoma. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Elton McDill, who passed away in 2011; and one sister, Ruth Scarborough.
Mrs. McDill is survived by her daughter, Donna Flatt and her husband Dennis of Manchester; one sister, Irene Phillips of Lena, Mississippi; one brother, James Lee Brown and his wife Sandra of Lena, Mississippi; Brother and Sister-in-law, Kendell McDill and his wife Peggy of Meridian, Mississippi; and one granddaughter, Rachel Flatt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Kilgore Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Howard Eads and Bro. Ernie Lucas officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.

11/21/14 —— Ernest L. Abbott
Ernest L. Abbott passed this life on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at his residence at the age of 94.
Mr. Abbott was born in Franklin Co., TN in 1919 to the late Junue D.T. Abbott and Dessie Mae Shasteen Abbott.
During his life he served four years in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He learned the building business from his father and trained as a finish carpenter. His building business eventually expanded to home building in several locations in Tullahoma, a paving company, a hardware store and parternership in Don-A-Rose apartments in Tullahoma. He enjoyed boating, hunting, golf and playing pool at senior citizens in Tullahoma and was proficient enough to earn trophies in some of these sports. He was also a member of Cedar Lane church of Christ.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his son, Terry L. Abbott, great grand daughter, Samantha Abbott, brothers William and Charles Abbott, sisters, Ruth Tipps and Edna Mitchell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Wilma Abbott, sister, Mabel Bohannon of Winchester Springs, TN, daughter, Gail (Buddy) Krench of Franklin, TN, grandson, Robert L “Bob” (Dwyne) Abbott of Chapel Hill, TN, granddaughter, Terri (Tim) Hathaway of Knoxville, TN, great grandchildren, Ellis L. Abbott, Joseph Hathaway and Iris Hathaway and several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 21, 2014 at Cedar Lane church of Christ with Bro. Pat Allison and Bro. John Payne officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Friday at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be held from 9:00 till 11:00 AM Friday morning at Cedar Lane church of Christ.

William Shakespeare Powell, age 81 of Tullahoma passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Harton Regional Medical Center.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the service time.
A native of Helena, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Virgil Oscar and Mary Eleanor Stuart Powell.
He was a U S Navy veteran and a retired United Airlines Pilot. Mr. Powell enjoyed working on his computer and maintained a data base for retired and active United Airlines Pilots. He enjoyed spending time with family and helping other people.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, William S. Powell Jr. and one sister, Janet Bernice Powell.
Mr. Powell is survived by his wife, Brenda Russell Powell of Tullahoma; one son, Virgil Wilson Powell and his wife, Denise of Lenoir City, TN ; one brother, John N. Powell and his wife, Marti of Cleveland, TN; two sisters, Mary Ann Rhodes of Brentwood, TN and Margaret Elizabeth Powell of Loudon, TN; one granddaughter, Katherine Gail Powell of Warrington, PA; one step son, Charles Lemay and his wife, Judy of Nashville and one step daughter, Cynthia Lemay Thom and her husband Scott of Hendersonville.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to Coffee County Lannom Memorial Public Library, 312 N. Collins Street, Tullahoma, TN. 37388.

11/20/14 —- Mark Cullen Holt, Jr.
Mark Cullen Holt, Jr., age 83, passed away on November 17, 2014 at his home in Hillsboro, Tennessee surrounded by his loving family.
He was a retired Automotive Mechanic and Owner/Operator of his own trucking operation.
Mr. Holt was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Victory in Jesus Church in Manchester, TN.
He loved and enjoyed his family, friends and his beloved Boston Terrier “Angel” and enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was well known for his baking skills, especially with coconut and chocolate pies. He was a major contributor to community fund raisers with his famous pies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Mark Cullen Holt, Sr. and Lucetta Lafevre Holt Gosnell; sons, James Cullen Holt and Russell Ray Holt; sisters, Lucy Gosnell Holt and Marie Anderson; brother, William “Bill” Holt; step-mother, Dorothy Holt, mother-in-law, Clara Tosh, grandson, Jonathan Holt ; and granddaughter, Amanda Holt.
Mr. Holt is survived by his loving wife, Alice Morene Tosh Holt of Hillsboro, TN; daughters, Janet M. Eckerson and her husband John of Manchester and Alice M. Kindzierski and her husband Bob of Shalimar, FL; son, Benji Holt and his wife Jody of Christiana, TN; sisters, Lucille John of Clinton, IN, Betty Stanton (Ron) of Hammond, IN and Shirley Carrozza of Elgin, IL; brothers, Terry Holt (Gracie) of Chicago, IL, Robert Holt (Cookie) of Crestwood, KY, Denny Holt and Willie Holt both of Chicago, IL; thirteen grandchildren, Bridget (Terry) Vassar, Christopher (Ginger) Jacobs, Beth (Scott) Holz, Lance (Cassie) Kindzierski, Ryan Kindzierski, Kristen (Chase) Hale, Katy Holt, Matthew (Rebecca) Holt, Daniel (Britanny) Holt, Lawanna (James) Alford, Christy Holt, Rusty Holt, and James Holt II; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Janie Paulette Tucker, age 72 of Hillsboro, Tennessee, passed away on November 14, 2014.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Rutledge Hill Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Ivy Owens Kendrick and Missouri Dycus Kendrick.
She is survived by her loving husband, Billy Richard Tucker of Hillsboro, TN; daughters, Rhonda J. Mihalovich and her husband James of Chicago, IL, Cynthia A. Martin of Warrior, AL and Janie C. Kendrick of Hillsboro, TN; six grandchildren, Joseph Ray Nichols, James P. Mihalovich, Athena C. Jones, Richard C. Mihalovich, Samantha D. Jones and Michael D. 11/20/14 —– Billy Sherman Jones
Funeral services for Mr. Billy Sherman Jones, age 75, of Manchester, Tenn., will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones passed away Sunday, November 16, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
Billy was born in Manchester, Tenn., the son of the late Lawrence S. and Ruby Mae Clayborn Jones.
He was self-employed as a stone mason in the construction industry. Billy served his country in the National Guard Reserves. He was a member and deacon at Forrest Mill Baptist Church. He loved playing golf, woodwork, UT football, bowling, being outside, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Billy was also preceded in death by a daughter, Angel Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Umbarger Jones of Manchester; two sons, Chris (Bonita Riddle) Jones and Josh (Jenny Meyer) Jones, both of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren, Cayln and Chrisln Jones, and Andy, Aaron, and Chloe Jones; and other beloved relatives, close special friends, and church family.

11/19/14 —— James “Jimmy” Edward Evans
James “Jimmy” Edward Evans of Lynchburg passed away Sunday November 16, 2014 at the Lynchburg Nursing Center.
A native of Moore County he was the son of the late Harville Evans and Grace Grant Evans.
He was a retired machine operator with United Technology Corporation and attended Lynchburg Church of Christ.
Mr. Evans enjoyed working and liked getting a new car.
He is survived by his son, Eddy Evans and his wife Lorie of Mulberry, brother; Harville Ray Evans of Lynchburg and sister, Rosaline Brannon of Shelbyville, grandchildren, Trenton and kelsie Evans of Lynchburg.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Summers Evans.
The family will receive friends Tuesday November 18, 2014 from 5-8 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home.
Services will be held Wednesday November 19, 2014 at 2 PM at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Logan officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Cemetery.

Mrs. Cynthia Denise Hunt Luttrell, age 53, of Tullahoma passed away Saturday at her residence in Tullahoma.
She was born in Manchester, TN to the late Robert S. and Iva Gay Giviens Hunt.
The family request memorial donations be made to Brad Luttrell, 4286 Rock Creek Rd., Tullahoma, TN 37388 in honor of Cynthia.
All donations will be sent to assist people at the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center and Murfreesboro Oncology.
He is survived by her loving husband, Charlie Luttrell and loving son, Brad Luttrell.

11/18/14 —- Elsie Augusta Reynolds
Mrs. Elsie Augusta Reynolds, age 90, of Tullahoma passed away Saturday at Life Care Center in Tullahoma.
She was born in Coffee, TN to the late Solomon Levi Stone and Sarah Elizabeth Grooms Stone. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Robert E. Reynolds, two brothers, Ernest Wesley Stone and Charles Lesley Stone, 3 grandsons, Scott Carter, Charles Williams Jr., Chris Williams, great grandson, Jason Baker, two great granddaughters, Ashley and Nichole Carter and one beloved daughter in law Marie Reynolds.
Elsie always believed in God and Family values first. She rode in the very first Horse show parade in Shelbyville, worked at Tennessee Overall Factory in Tullahoma, also worked for General Telephone Electronics in Huntsville, Alabama for 7 years making telephones and South Central Human Services as a homemakers aid. Elsie also sat with the sick and elderly. In her spare time she made clothes and quilts and sold Avon for 30 years. She liked to write poetry, reading fishing and watching birds. Elsie has lived in Memphis, Huntsville, Oak Ridge, Manchester and Tullahoma.
Funeral services for Mrs. Reynolds will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Brazier officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 till 9:00 PM Monday at Tullahoma Funeral Home.
She is survived by five children, Sarah Carter of Tullahoma, Mildred Broadrick of Tullahoma, Alan Reynolds of Tullahoma, Joan Lawson of Tullahoma and Stan Reynolds of Wartrace, 10 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
