Mr. Robert “Bobby” Kanagie, Sr., age 56 of Manchester, passed away on September 5, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center.

9/10/16 — Floyd William Bryan
U.S. Veteran
Floyd William Bryan was born December 13, 1934 with twin brother Boyd
George Bryan to the late William Whitson and Mae Huffman Bryan at Dr.
Clarence Farrar’s office that was over Baker Bros. Drug Store on E. Main
St. in Manchester. The boys attended 1st thru 8th grade at the Asbury
School and graduated May 1954, from Central High School in Manchester.
Floyd followed his father and enlisted in the Navy, trained in San Diego,
California, and joined the carrier USS Kearsarge off the coast of Korea
until the end of the conflict and then sailed 4 years in the Pacific.
Coming home in 1958 he went to work in Murfreesboro at G.E. Floyd had a
big year in 1959, he met and married Marilyn Anderson, started a new
career at AEDC in Power Control (ESF) as an electrician and later
electrical supervisor until his retirement. After retiring, he loved to
do woodwork, cook, garden, and share all the goodies with friends and
neighbors. He planted a vineyard and made wine with friends and traveled
the world, visiting 6 continents with friends at Stanton Tours. Floyd
enjoyed hosting Barbecues, Fish Fries and raising Christmas Trees on the
farm. Preceded in death by 3 brothers; H.B., C.D., and twin brother, Boyd
Bryan, and a sister; Lucille Bryan Jones. Survived by wife of 57 years;
Marilyn, a son; Edward David Bryan (Penny Ann) of Trinity, North
Carolina, 2 daughters; Valerie Buergey (Chris) of Beaufort, South
Carolina, and Teresa Bryan of Payson, Arizona, a grandson; Ethan
Alexander Bryan, 2 granddaughters; Amelia Ann and Emily Ann Bryan, all of
Trinity, North Carolina.

9/10/16—Mary Sue Willoughby
Mrs. Mary Sue Willoughby, age 55, of Manchester, TN, passed away on
Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in
Nashville, TN. No services are planned at this time.
Mary was born in Oliver Springs, TN, the daughter of the late Clifford
Willoughby and Ann Willoughby Sisk of Paducah, KY, who survives. She was
a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, Mary was also preceded in death by one
brother, Jerry Willoughby. She is survived by her mother; one daughter,
Sally Ann Willoughby of Manchester; three brothers, James Willoughby of
Summitville, Dale Willoughby of Manchester, and Carl Willoughby of
Hillsboro; and one sister, Julia Willoughby of Three Rivers, Michigan.

9/7/16 — Naomi Daniel Nowlin
Funeral services for Mrs. Naomi Daniel Nowlin, age 81 of Manchester, will be conducted on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Reverend Beth Ezell officiating. Burial will follow in New Redden Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Nowlin passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016.
Mrs. Nowlin enjoyed gardening, crocheting and sewing. She was a loyal and devoted wife to her late husband of 59 years, Kenneth “Buster” Nowlin. She loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Birdie Daniel; brothers, Keathley, Lloyd, Boyd, Wayne and Harold Daniel. Survived by her sons, Dewaine Nowlin and wife Patti, Horace Nowlin and wife Cindy; daughter, Nancy Nowlin Johnson and husband Neal; grandchildren, Krista Nowlin, Kelsey Nowlin, Tyler Nowlin, Cody Nowlin, Haley Johnson and Sara Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Mrs. Martha Jewell McGhee age 71 of Dunlap, Tennessee and recent resident of the Haven Of Rest in Tracy City and The Bridge At Monteagle passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Tracy City First Baptist Church with Reverend Ben Curtis officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Joyce Richardson, age 84, of Manchester,
TN, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at
Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Garry Irvin officiating. Burial
will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family
will be from 10:00 AM until time of services on Thursday at the funeral
home. Mrs. Richardson passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 at
Horizon Health & Rehab in Manchester, TN.
Joyce was born in Alabama, the daughter of the late James Ace McCullough
and Bessie Frances Elizabeth Jones McCullough. She was a homemaker and a
factory worker, loved to work outside, and enjoyed volunteering at The
Attic Thrift Store in Tullahoma. She was a member of Grace Baptist
Church in Tullahoma.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her
husband, James T. Richardson; two brothers, James and Carl McCullough;
and one sister, Joan Ferrell. She is survived by one son, Larry Douglas
(Penny) Richardson of Manchester; one daughter, Patricia Diane Richardson
of Manchester; one brother, Charles (Lillian) McCullough of Shelbyville;
one sister, Deborah Bozich of Clinton Township, MI; one sister-in-law,
Helen McCullough of Shelbyville; two granddaughters, Katrina (Jeff)
Wright and Jennifer (Guy) Sublett; and three grandchildren, Jayda and
Brady Wright and Bailey Sublett.

Funeral services for Mrs. BettyJo Ann Madaras, age 80 of Manchester will
be conducted at 10:00am, Wednesday, September 7 from the Manchester
Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Williams officiating. Burial will
follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be
from 5pm until 8pm, Tuesday, September 6 at Manchester Funeral Home.
Mrs. Madaras passed this life Saturday, September 3 at the Tenova Harton
Regional Hospital in Tullahoma.
Mrs. Madaras was born in Manchester, Tennessee the daughter of the late
Hoyt and Lula (Hickerson) Hulett. She worked as an accountant and was a
member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, BettyJo was
also preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Madaras, and by a sister
in law, Martha Jo Hulett. Her survivors are:

Stacey (David) King of Huntsville, Alabama
2 sons- Douglas (Angela) Madaras of Ann Arbor, Michigan

9/6/16 — Catherine Louise Poe Harris
Catherine Louise Poe Harris, 66, of Tullahoma, passed away on Friday,
September 2, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare-Harton in Tullahoma. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 6, at 2 PM at the
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Forrest Bryan
officiating. Burial
will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on
Tuesday from 12 Noon until the service time.
Mrs. Harris, a native of Chicago, IL was the daughter of the late Phillip
and Audrey Skelton Kemmer. She enjoyed reading, listening to music and
spending time with her grandchildren. She was a mother and grandmother to
all and everyone referred to her as Granny Cathy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband,
Tommy Poe; brother, Phillip Kemmer Jr; brother-in-law, Scott Bullock and
sister in law, Anna Kemmer.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, James Harris of Tullahoma; sons,
Roy Latham and Corey Poe, both of Tullahoma; daughters, Thomasina Simmons
and her husband, Michael of Lynchburg and Jeana Corsi and her husband,
Michael of Estill Springs; step-children, Chris Harris and Melissa Caskey,
both of PA; brother, Jimmy Kemmer Sr and his wife, Rhonda of IL; sisters,
Penny Stewart and her husband, Terry of Arizona and Janet Bullock of New
Mexico; eleven grandchildren, Alexandera and Rosie Simmons, James, Katie
and Jonathon Latham, Sommer and Mathew Poe, Brandon Corsi, and Mckayla,
Dacota and Thomas Hunt; four step grandchildren and many nieces, nephews
and friends.

9/4/16 — Matthew Waylon Oakley
Matthew Waylon Oakley was born October 25, 1995 in Tullahoma, Tennessee at Harton to John G. and Annette V. Oakley. Matthew was attending school at Motlow College where he was working toward a degree in Mechatronics, he also worked for R & R Construction Co. as a Carpenter. Matthew loved hiking in the Mountains, as well as Old Stone Fort, Kayaking on the Duck River, and riding his horse Hershey. Matthew was a kind and honest man who loved spending time with his family, friends, and dog. When Matthew was speaking to you, you knew you were hearing the truth. Matthew is survived by his brother; John Corey (Olga Zagaria) Oakley, bride to be; Trista Hillis, nephew; John Oliver Zagariya Oakley, Grandparents; Bobby and Joyce Trail of Noah, and Sharon Oakley of Hillsboro, Uncles; Mark Oakley, Bob Trail, Nick Patterson Aunts; Tina Patterson, Donna Trail, Cousins; Brett Oakley, Wesley Trail, Haley Trail, Brian Patterson, and Evan Patterson
