1/23/20– Bobby J Litchford

Bobby J Litchford, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, January 21,
2020 at his residence, at the age of 78. Graveside Services are scheduled
for Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 2 PM at Maplewood Cemetery.  The family
will receive friends at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home from 1 – 2 PM.

Bobby was the son of the late Tom and Johnnie Dance Sanders Litchford.  He
is survived by wife, Carol Litchford of Tullahoma; sons, Michael Litchford
(Tammie) of Tullahoma and Ronnie Litchford of Washington, DC.; daughter,
Kimberly Litchford of Lynchburg; seven grandchildren and ten great
grandchildren.

1/23/20– William Ronald England

Funeral services for Mr. William Ronald England, age 78, of Manchester, TN, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Blanton’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at the funeral home. Mr. England passed suddenly from this life on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at his residence in Manchester.

Ronald was born in Coffee County, TN, to the late Ashney and Jarusha England. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Manchester. Ronald was a Godly man and loved reading and studying his Bible. He enjoyed working on his farm with his goats and spoiling his grandchildren. His grandchildren were his entire world. Ronald was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, William is also preceded in death by one brother, Rodney England. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sherry England; one son, William Cam England (Alicia); one daughter, Fraya Brown (Oddie); five grandchildren, Tanner Trail, Nathan England, Joanna England, Hunter Brown, and Brandon Brown.

1/27/20 — Rodney Chase Carroll

Rodney Chase Carroll, of Manchester, passed this life on Sunday, January
19, 2020 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, at the age of 46. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Monday, January 27, 2020 at 3 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Monday
beginning a 1 PM.

Rodney, a native of Murfreesboro, is the son of Linda Kay Martin Woodlee of
Tullahoma.  He was a 1991 graduate of Coffee County High School where he
played football.  Rodney worked for Yorozu Automotive as a production
supervisor.  He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and music. He also love Jeeps.
Rodney was an avid Tennessee Vols football fan.

 In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Shauna Lohr Carroll
of Manchester; sons, Austin Ledford and Dylan Carroll, both of Manchester;
daughters, Brooklyn Carroll of Manchester and Savannah Carroll of
Tullahoma; uncle, Bob Martin of Tullahoma; Betty Young of Lewisburg and
mother-in-law, Linda Lohr of Manchester.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made in
his honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl,

1/22/20 — Kimberly Shawn Hodge

Hodge, Kimberly Shawn, of Manchester, passed this life on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 48. Kimberly was born in Tullahoma to Bobby and Brenda Combs Holder who both survive. During her life she owned and operated several different markets in Manchester and the surrounding areas, the last of which being the Land and Lake Market and Grill in Estill Springs. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dwayne Holder and Shane Keith Holder. In addition to her parents, Kimberly is survived by two sons, Courtland Hodge and Braston (Faith) Hodge; two grandchildren, Keiston and Mia Hodge; and her boyfriend, Rodney Elkins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020 at 11:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Kathy Stamey officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. 1/19/20 — Eulus Sterling Haley

Graveside services for Mr. Eulus Sterling Haley, age 85, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Hurricane Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mr. Haley passed from this life on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at McArthur Manor in Manchester, TN.

Sterling was born in Manchester to the late Raymond and Evelyn Haley. Before his retirement from TN Apparel, Sterling served 12 years in the United States Army and United States Army National Guard, and he served time at the DMZ Zone in Korea. He was a member of Hurricane Grove Baptist Church where he loved to worship Jesus, was the song leader, and taught Sunday School. Sterling loved to play and listen to Bluegrass music. He once performed for President George W. Bush, Sr., during his time as Vice President, and he was also able to witness President Harry Truman during the dedication of AEDC. Sterling loved to go fishing, but his favorite past time was spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Sterling is also preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Lora Haley; two brothers, Bill and Floyd Haley. He is survived by his son, Jeff Haley (Becky); daughter, Susie George (Timmy); and two grandchildren, Amelia George (Cody Liles) and Romy Haley.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Sterling’s name to Billy Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse, The Gideon’s, Preborn, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or any veteran’s organization.

1/20/20 — Elizabeth “Sibbie” A. Brewer

Elizabeth “Sibbie” A. Brewer, of Normandy, passed this life on Thursday,
January 16, 2020, at the age of 83. Funeral Services are scheduled for
Monday, January 20, 2020 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with
burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on
Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 3 PM to 6 PM.

Elizabeth, a native of Normandy, was the daughter of the late Floyd and
Annie Rowlett Jones.  She was a member of the Assembly Church of God in
Tullahoma.  “Sibbie” described herself as a “caregiver” and she enjoyed
visiting the residents of the nursing homes on Sunday afternoons, praying
and reading her Bible.  She loved talking about Jesus with others and was a
faithful “Prayer Warrior”.  As her health failed and she neared her death,
she was very excited to join her “Jesus”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Gary
Wayne, Billy Joe, Lannie Ray and Jerry Dale Jones.

“Sibbie” is survived by brother, Ronnie Layton Jones (Brenda) of Moore
County; sister, Floy Jean Brown (Lawrence) of Shelbyville and several
nieces and nephews.

1/29/20 — Rogelia S Lucas

Rogelia S Lucas, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, January 14, 2020
at NHC of Tullahoma, at the age of 86. Funeral Services are scheduled for
Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 7 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. The
family will receive friends from 6 PM – 7 PM. Burial will be held on
Thursday, January 30 at 12:30 PM Eastern Time at the Chattanooga National
Cemetery.

Rogelia was born in the Phillipines on January 3, 1934.  She and her
husband, David moved to Tullahoma from California after retirement.  She
enjoyed attending the Ballet and attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic
Church.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by six brothers
and sisters.

Rogelia is survived by her husband, David Lucas of Tullahoma; son, Robert
Lucas (Katroni) of Sacremento, CA and two grandchildren.

1/17/20– Janice Elaine Dixon

Mrs. Janice Elaine Dixon, 78, passed away Tuesday
January 14, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.  She
was born in Manchester, Tennessee on May 18, 1941 to Milburn Elwood Teters
and Mary J. McCullough Teters who preceded her in death.  She was also
preceded by special nephews, Scott Douglas Bryan and Troy Alan Bryan.

She was a member of the Rutledge Falls Baptist Church in Tullahoma and was
retired from the Coffee County Assessor of Property’s office.

She is survived by her husband, James M. Dixon; son, David Pugh,
Murfreesboro; daughters, Kim (David) Taylor, Manchester and Vicki (Kurt)
Holasek, Portsmouth, VA; sister, Linda (Douglas) Bryan, Manchester;
grandchildren, Kara and Keith Holasek, Tyler Pugh, Amanda (Adam) Morgan,
Josh Taylor, Morgan (Justin Lowery) Taylor and Breyer Taylor; great
grandchildren, Emma and Olivia Morgan; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday in the Central Funeral Home Chapel
with Minister Evan Owens officiating with burial to follow in the Rose Hill
Memorial Gardens.  Visitation: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday at Central

1/14/20– Frances Bethea Travis

Mrs. Frances Bethea Travis, 77 of Manchester passed away at her
home on Thursday, January 9, 2020. Mrs. Travis was a retired HR manager for
Wal-Mart. She was a devout Christian who enjoyed bird watching and loved
being with her family and her Yorkshire Terrier “Happy.”
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Darla Gay Travis Ingrum.  She is
survived by her son Barry Dean Travis of Manchester; 2 grandchildren;
Matthew Travis and Lacy Maxwell of Manchester; Uncle; Jonas Winn Ingrum
(Brenda) and son-in-law; Keith (Kathi) Ingrum.

Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 at Central Funeral Home. A graveside
service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Fredonia Cemetery. In lieu of

1/15/20– Beatrice “Bea” Wells

Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice “Bea” Wells, age 72, of Morrison, TN will be conducted at 1:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. Mrs. Wells passed from this life on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at St. Thomas – Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN.

Bea was born in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Harim and Mary Rector. She worked for the state of Tennessee upon her retirement. Bea was a member of Forest Mill Baptist Church, loved singing solos at church on Sunday mornings, and enjoyed singing Christian music. She loved cats, reading, and playing cards. Most importantly though, Bea loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, stepmother, and grandmother.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents, Harim and Mary Rector. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Alvin Cloys Wells; three stepsons, Al (Dee), Don (Lynn), and Dexter (Lisa); six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
