2/26/20– Donald Henry Peek
Donald Henry Peek, age 65, of Beechgrove, TN, passed away on February 26, 2020 at his residence. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
Donald was born in Nashville, TN, the son of the late William “Bill” and Christine Lampley Peek. He was a Regional Maintenance Supervisor for Ram. He enjoyed fishing, boats, had a passion for fixing things, going to the lake, but especially spending time with his family. He was the best man his daughters ever knew, and was completely devoted to his wife and loved her unconditionally.
In addition to his parents, Donald was also preceded in death by one brother, William “J.R.” Peek; and one great grandson, Silas Nolan. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Teresa Peek; five daughters, Alicia Alderman-Jackson, Melissa Peek, Nancy Butler, Jennifer (Jasen) McCormick, and Chasity (Jason) Laney; one brother, Mike West; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Peek; grandchildren, Tori Gundrum, Kayla Russell, Brianna Gundrum, Hannah Russell, Gabriel Laney, Christopher Jacob Russell, Dakota Laney, Jonathan Laney, Emily Laney, Faith Floyd, and Arianna Laney; and two great grandchildren, Brana Rhinheart and Oaklynn Ellingson.

2/26/20– Franklin Wayne Steele
Mr. Franklin Wayne Steele, 85, passed away Wednesday February 26, 2020 at his home. He was born in Elora, Tennessee on March 19, 1934 to E.P. “Ted” Steele and Rosie Lee Bennett Steele who preceded him in death along with his brother, Walton Steele; sister, Betty Cowan.
He was a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Parent Steele; sons, Franklin W. Steele
II and Brian S. Steele; daughter, Holly (Bryan) Partin; brother, Teddy
(Carolyn) Steele.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

2/29/20 — Ruth Hutchison Kilgore
Kilgore, Ruth Hutchison, of Manchester, passed this life on Wednesday, February 26th, 2020 at Horizon Health and Rehab Center at the age of 98. Ruth was born in Centerville, Tennessee to the late William M. and Mary Ann Duncan Aydelott and was a member of First Baptist Church in Manchester. While raising her family, Ruth was very involved in her children’s activities and enjoyed being a room mother during their grade school years. She was a fabulous cook and loved gardening as well. Ruth was a very energetic lady and loved being active throughout her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, G.C. Hutchison; her second husband, LaVoy Kilgore; one son, David Alan Hutchison; 15 brothers and sisters; and one step-son, Tim Kilgore. She is survived by two daughters, Saundra Yates and her husband Rod of Manchester, and Wanda Brashears of Manchester; one son, G.C. “Buster” Hutchison and his wife Penny of Beech Grove; eight grandchildren, Mike (Karen), David, Scott, Bryan, Terri (Matt), Lesli (Kevin), Trevor (Amber), Ali, and Jason; eight great-grandchildren, Zack, Ryan, Kellie, Daniel, Hollynn, Keiton, Patrick and Brittany; one step-son, Greg Kilgore and his wife Susan; and three step-grandchildren, Elizabeth (Joey), Sara (Andrew), and Matthew. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 29th, 2020 at 1:00pm at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Pastor Rick Funderburk officiating. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the First Baptist Church of Manchester Building Fund, 1006 Hillsboro Boulevard, Manchester, TN 37355 or the Horizon Pink Ladies Fund. 2/27/20– Henrietta B Boyett
Henrietta B Boyett of Hillsboro, passed this life on Monday, February 24,
2020 at her residence at the age of 88. Funeral Services will be held on
Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 12 PM at Rutledge Hill Community Church, 91
Rutledge Ford Road, Hillsboro, TN, 37342 with burial to follow at Rutledge
Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the
service time.
Mrs. Boyett, a native of Franklin County, was the daughter of the late
Henry and Emaline Brinkley Brannan. She was a member of Rutledge Hill
Community Church and enjoyed being with her family. She always kept a
“very clean house” and was always busy cleaning something. She also
enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening in addition to quilting and ceramics.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50
years, Buford Boyett; brothers, Edward, Howard and Marvin Hill and sister,
Gladys Brannan Sherrill.
She is survived by daughter, Debbie Lenarduzzi (Roberto) of Knoxville;
sons, Danny Boyett (Patricia) of Estill Springs, Ronnie Boyett (Robin) of
Hillsboro and Randy Boyette of Hillsboro; six grandchildren and twelve
great grandchildren.

2/25/20 — Steven Dale Vaughn
Mr. Steven Dale Vaughn, 60, passed away
unexpectedly Friday February 21, 2020 at his home. He was born in
Nashville, Tennessee on August 31, 1959.
He was retired from Chrysler and was a member and Past Master of the
Robertsville, Missouri Lodge #363 AF&AM.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Carlene Lovell Vaughn; wife,
Sharon Lynn Payne Vaughn.
He is survived by his, father, Carl Edward Vaughn, Hillsboro, TN son,
Edward Quinlan Vaughn and his wife, Caitlin Brianne Vaughn, Hillsboro, TN;
fiance, Robyn Brister, Henderson, KY; sister, Patricia (Michael) Craft,
Hazel Park, Michigan; brother, Dennis Vaughn, Manchester; grandchildren,
Devin and Bentley Vaughn; nieces, Heather Craft-Hankes, Leigh Craft and
Nikki Vaughn-Slone.

2/29/20 — Louella Morgan
Louella Morgan of Tullahoma, TN, passed this life on Wednesday, February
19, 2020 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville at the age of 71. Funeral
Services are scheduled on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 12 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 AM
until the service time.
A native of Tifton, GA, Mrs. Morgan was the daughter of the late Thomas and
Mattie Hubbard Gilbert. She was a member of the Blessed Hope Church of
Jesus in Tullahoma. Mrs. Morgan was a very religious woman who enjoyed
going to church, singing gospel songs and talking to people about her
faith. She loved to help people.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John
Hubbard and Thomas Gilbert and sisters, Willie Jean Johnson and Gladys
Williams.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by her loving husband, Odell Morgan Sr of
Tullahoma; daughter, Sheila Wright (fiancé’, Bobbie Maxwell) of Benton
Harbor, MI; sons, Marvin Morgan (Jamie Thompson) of Tullahoma, John T.
Morgan (Lisa) of Tullahoma, Odell Morgan Jr (Rachel) of Holland, MI and
Marshall Morgan (Stacy) of Muskegon, MI; adopted sons, Tommy Williams and
Isaiah Clark, both of Tullahoma; brothers and sisters and many
grandchildren and great grandchildren.

2/22/20– Katricia Hodge
Funeral services for Ms. Katricia Hodge, age 82, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Adam Duncan Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday, at the funeral home. Ms. Hodge passed from this life on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Horizon Health and Rehab in Manchester, TN.
Katricia was born in Brickie, Arkansas on May 9, 1937, to the late Cyril and Mary Wiser. She loved making crafts including knitting, sewing, and beading. Katricia also loved animals and drinking coffee with some cookies. She would always visit her favorite spot, Waffle House, travel, and she enjoyed collecting elephant figurines.
In addition to her parents, Katricia is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Hodge. She is survived by her brother, Iliff Leighton Wiser; three sisters, Geroldine Day, Margaret Foreman, and Lana Gaines; several nieces and nephews.

2/21/20 — John “Brad” Bradley Davis
Funeral services for Mr. John “Brad” Bradley Davis, age 56, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:30 PM on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Manchester Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Barron officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Brad passed away on February 19, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.
Brad was born in Manchester, TN, the son of the late Edward “Abe” Phillip and Elizabeth “Liz” Allison Davis. He was a factory worker in the industrial industry. He enjoyed gardening, frog gigging, and loved his family.
In addition to his parents, Brad was also preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Davis; and one brother, Phil Davis. He is survived by his children, Tammy (Scott) Daniels and Elizabeth Davis; grandchildren, Landen, Karsen, Kallie, Taygen, and Rylan; one brother, Barry Davis; and one sister, Amy (David) McKinney.

2/15/20– William J Kalmes
William J Kalmes of Manchester, TN, passed this life on Saturday, February
15, 2020 at Unity Medical Center of Manchester at the age of 76. No
services are scheduled at this time.
Mr. Kalmes, a native of Skokie, IL, was the son of the late Nicholas and
Dorothy Shedulbaur Kalmes. Mr. Kalmes loved building model cars and was an
avid drag racer. He also enjoyed watching races and old westerns on TV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Patricia
Haras and niece, Melinda Haras.
Mr. Kalmes is survived by nieces, Melisa Sands (Scott) of Manchester and
Sue Lasco of Burlington, WI; six great nieces and nephews and ten great
great nieces and nephews.
