Funeral services for Mr. William Bradley “Brad” Cook, age 41, formerly of Manchester will be conducted Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Reverend Bob Case officiating.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Brad passed away Friday July 6, 2012 in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
He was born August 13, 1970 in Coffee County, Tennessee the son of the Mrs. Sue Harner Cook and the late W.H. Cook, Jr.
Brad grew up in Manchester and graduated from Manchester Central High School. He attended Belmont University in Nashville where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Journalism and English. He then attended the University of Vermont, Burlington where he obtained a Masters Degree in English. Brad then went on to received a Law Degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
He was employed with the United States Federal Government as an attorney. He specialized in Pattens and Trademarks as well as Veterans Appeals.
While living in Manchester, Brad worked at the family’s business, Cook Neon Signs, Inc. He was a member of the Forest Mill United Methodist Church. Brad will be missed beyond measure by his family and friends as well as his beloved Welsh Terriers, Dexter and Jackson.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. W.H. Cook, Sr., and his maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Harner and also his brother-in-law, David Reavis.
Survivors include his loving mother, Sue Harner Cook of Manchester; his devoted partner of twelve years, Frederick Redwine; two sisters, Tammy Cook Jones and husband, Frank of Manchester and Susan Cook Reavis also of Manchester; five nieces and nephews, Haley Tomasek, Kelsey Tomasek, and Elizabeth, Hannah and Alex Reavis.
The family requests memorial contributions in Loving Memory of Brad be made to one’s favorite charity.
