Oma Lee “Bunt” Gore Durm age 85 of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday May 7, 2014 at her home.
A native of Moore County , she was the daughter of the late Arthur Lee Gore and Nancy Ann Hall Gore.
She was a homemaker and a member of Arbor Primitive Baptist Church and family was everything to her.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 5-9 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home.
Services will be held on Friday May 9, 2014 at 3 PM at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Burkhalter and Bro. Keith Shelton officiating.
Burial will follow at Beech Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Durm and wife Roxanne of Lynchburg, Nick Durm of Stone Mountain, GA and Tim Durm and wife Dana of Baxter, TN, daughters; Donna Tucker and husband Danny of Lynchburg and Leeann Durm of Lynchburg, grandchildren; Nicole Arnold and husband of Wartrace, tara Parks and husband Scott of Lynchburg, Wendy Grayson and husband Jay of Lynchburg, Sonya Long and husband David of New Johnsonville, Tn, Valerie Cates and husband Bret of Lynchburg, Timothy Durm and girlfriend Eleanor Whitehurst of Mount Jackson, VA and Jake Durm of Nashville and nine great-grandchildren. Aunt, Hesta Mae Rhoton of Lynchburg, uncle, Aaron Shelton of Manchester. Sisters-in-law; Retha Ashby and husband Walker of Winchester, Letha Syler of Winchester and Geneva Hulvey of Lynchburg.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Orval Durm.
