Mr. Hugh Jones, known as the candy man by many, age 85, of Tullahoma, passed away Sunday afternoon at his residence.
A native of Van Town, TN and is the son of the late Jeff and Vrilla Pruitt Jones. Mr. Jones was a retired Truck driver, a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Tullahoma and was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a stepson, John Johnson, 2 sisters, Lydia Flancer and Ivy Cooper, 3 brothers, Evan, Harold and Floyd Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Jones of Tullahoma, stepsons, James Johnson of Orlando, FL, Bill Lawrence of Orlando, FL and a stepdaughter, Margaret Dawson of Texas and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the Tullahoma Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted Friday at 10:00AM in the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Wall.
Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery.
