Debbie Green, age 55 of Estill Springs, passed away May 27, 2012 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center.
A native of Franklin County, she was a 1974 graduate of Franklin County High School and a member of the Estill Springs United Methodist Church. She worked as a CNA most of her working life and most recently at Southern Manor. She will be remembered by her family as loving to work with flowers and as a devoted mother and grandmother and an especially devoted daughter.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Butler; maternal grandparents James & Lois Finney; paternal grandparents, Willie and Edna Butler.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Green of Shelbyville and Jamie Green of Tullahoma; mother Mary Ann Finney Butler of Estill Springs; sister Tina Donahue of Huntsville, AL; aunt and uncle, Jackie & Martin Finney of Winchester; grandchildren, Heather, Tyler and Luke Green.
A celebration of life will be conducted from the Chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home at 4 p.m. Wednesday May 30, 2012 with Rev. Joe Rutherford and Rev. Brian Nave officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
