Mr. Leburn Merriman, age 87, of Manchester, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel.
In accordance with Mr. Merriman’s wishes, after visitation, his body will be cremated.
Mr. Merriman was born in Cannon County, TN, the son of the late John W. and Effie Bullard Merriman.
He was an inspector with A.M. General, as well as a World War II veteran in the United States Navy.
In addition to his parents, Leburn was also preceded in death by several brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary Ellen Furmidge Merriman; several nieces and nephews, and sisters and brother in laws.
