More On Warning To Area Residents From Sheriff Steve Graves

Sheriff Steve Graves has a warning for area residents. There have been several burglaries in the county in the last two weeks.
According to the sheriff, thieves have been breaking into residences in the Normandy and Beech Grove areas and stealing money and jewelry.
Meanwhile, thieves have also been stealing farming equipment in the Hillsboro area. So far the thieves have taken a hay wagon and four wheel vehicles such as Gators. They have also entered barns and taken items. Thieves are also working the Summitville area.
“People need to keep an eye on their area and report any suspicious activities in their communities,” the sheriff stated.
County investigators have been following up on various leads in connection with the burglaries and thefts.
The sheriff said that he feels that two different group of thieves are committing thefts in the three areas.
