Lynchburg Accident Sends Three People To The Hospital

accident2Three people were injured in a two vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon around 5:30 p.m. on Highway 55 in Lynchburg.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 1997 Dodge pickup truck operated by Hazel Lamb 74, of Elora was turning off the Highway when her vehicle was struck by a 2000 Dodge Neon operated by Shannon Roberts, 42.
According to the THP, the pickup truck then spun around in the roadway and traveled off the left side of the road and down an embankment. The Neon also spun around in the roadway and came to rest. Roberts was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, as was an Ethan Perry, 15, of Lynchburg, who was a passenger in the Neon.
A young child, Keagon Martin of Lynchburg, was transported to Lincoln Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville for treatment of injuries.
Lamb was not injured in the crash.
