Deputy James Sherrill and Manchester Officer Jonathan Anthony
After a lengthy investigation, Coffee County deputies and the Manchester Police department seized approximately a pound of marijuana from a residence on Oakdale Street in Manchester. Deputy James Sherrill and Manchester Officer Jonathan Anthony seized the pot after making a traffic stop and then went to the Oakdale address. In addition to the marijuana, the officers found various drug paraphernalia. The value of the marijuana was placed at $4,000. Sherrill noted that this ongoing investigation will be presented to the Coffee County Grand Jury.
