A 20-year-old Manchester man has been arrested for the rape of a nursing home patient. Anthony Heartsell a patient of a nursing home on Powers Bridge Road in Manchester is accused of raping a wheelchair bound patient at the home. According to warrants obtained by Manchester Police Detective Butch Stewart, Heartsell physically assaulted and forcibly raped a wheelchair bound female patient at the nursing home. According to the warrants, Heartsell admitted to the assault and rape of the woman. He is being held in the Coffee County Jail under a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Coffee County General Sessions Court April 10.
