Frontier and Xterra No Longer Made In Tennessee

The Nissan Frontier and Xterra will no longer be made in Tennessee. According to a Nissan spokesman, the switch will make more room at the Smyrna plant to build other cars like the Infinity JX. The Frontier was the first truck to roll off the Smyrna assembly line in 1983. The Frontier and Xterra will now be assembled at a plant in Canton, MS. Nissan’s engine plant is located in Franklin County.
