On Wednesday morning at approximately 2:25am Deputy Kevin Smith was dispatched to 365 Stacy Rd in Summitville for a reported structure fire. According to Smith’s police report, upon his arrival he spoke with the victim Tanya Rymer who told him the fire started in the home due to grease on her stove that was apparently left on.
The report went onto to say that Rymer stated that she is unsure of the damage done but was assuming the value is around $20,000.
Summitville Fire Department responded and extinguished the early morning fire.
