4/23/14 —- Sarah Francis Glascoe

Mrs. Sarah Francis Glascoe, age 74, of Cowan, TN, passed away Monday morning, April 21, 2014, at the Willows in Winchester, TN.

She was born in Nolensville, TN., and a native of Cowan, TN. She was the daughter of the late Virgil Ernest and Nanny Mae Carr Crabtree and worked as a seamstress at Taylors Leatherwear for many years. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and one nephew. 

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James Thomas Glascoe, two sons Michael (Linda) Glascoe of Tullahoma and Allen Glascoe of Cowan, TN., one grandson Kyle, one step granddaughter Brooke, one brother Charles (Nora) Crabtree of Woodbury, TN., one sister Phyllis of Tullahoma, TN., one step sister Ann Spicer, several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jack Lambert officiating.

Burial will follow in Roberts Cemetery in Raus, TN.

4/23/14 —— Patricia Bobo Camp

Patricia Bobo Camp age 73 of Lynchburg passed away Monday April 21, 2014 at her residence.

A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Ben O. Bobo and Leta Stewart Bobo.

She was a retired school teacher at Tullahoma High School. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pat enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, reading, traveling, Easter Star, UMW, cooking, family get togethers, she loved music and dancing. She and her sister Helen Price had a business together called Designs by Bobo Flowering Arranging.

She is survived by her sons; Tony Camp and his wife Susan and David Camp and his wife Anita all of Lynchburg. Nephew Perry Price and his wife Suzette of Atlanta, sister; Helen Bobo Price and her husband Gerald of Fayetteville and granddaughters Kelsey and Kyleigh Camp and many nieces nephews and cousins.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hershel Camp.

The family will receive friends Tuesday April 22, 2014 from 5-8 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home.

Services will be held on Wednesday April 23, 2014 at 2 PM at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. A J Alderman officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund.

4/26/14 —- Raymond Henry Joellenbeck

Raymond Henry Joellenbeck, 81, of Tullahoma passed away on Saturday April 19, 2014, at his home.

Raised on a farm in Illinois, the army provided him passage to Germany where he stayed for 20 years, first in the service to his county, then working in construction and running a tavern. Germany is also where he met his future wife. He came back to the states in 1973 and worked as a machinist until his retirement in 1998. He was a dedicated member of the Tullahoma First Presbyterian Church serving as an elder, choir member, all around handyman, and even from the pulpit on occasions. He was a member of the Tullahoma Lions Club since April 2001 serving as its president twice.

He is survived by his wife Hildegard of 46 years and son J. Ray Joellenbeck.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014, at 11AM, at the First Presbyterian Church in Tullahoma followed by a reception.

4/20/14 —- Janet P. Adolf

Mrs. Janet P. Adolf, age 75 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Harton Regional Medical Center.

No services will be scheduled.

Mrs. Adolf was a native of Daiseytown, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Crestwell and one son, Reinhold Adolf Jr.

She is survived by her husband Reinhold Adolf of Tullahoma; two daughters, Jenny Muren and Denise Duncan-McDaniels, both of Arizona and six grandchildren.

4/21/14 —— Ramona Fay Ferguson

Graveside services for Ramona Fay Ferguson, age 73, of Manchester, will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Pastor Dana Brooks officiating.

Visitation will be held Monday from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. 

Miss Ferguson passed away Friday evening, April 18, 2014, at Northside Health Care in Murfreesboro, TN. 

She was born September 29, 1940 in Coffee County, TN the daughter of the late Levoy B. Ferguson and Juanita Ferguson Crosslin.

She enjoyed reading and needle point and was a member of the Methodist faith. 

She is survived by two brothers, Don O. Ferguson and wife, Martha, of Albany, Georgia; Ronnie Crosslin and wife, Melanie, of Manchester, TN; and one sister, Diane Weatherford and husband David, of Canton, TX and several nieces and nephews.

4/19/14 —- William Dean Jackson

William Dean Jackson, age 71 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on April 15, 2014.veteran --- Flag 2

Mr. Jackson retired from Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) where he served his entire working career as a Professional Photographer.  He was also a United States Army veteran serving in Korea from 1960-1962.

He was born inTullahoma, TN to his parents, the late Claude Jackson and Eva Lee Gilley Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Don Jackson.

He is survived by Barbara Ann Jackson of Manchester, the mother of the children, Dana L. Thompson and her husband Scott of Manchester, William D. Jackson II and his wife Julie of Manchester, Michael Clark of Tullahoma, Debbie Waggoner of Atlanta, GA and Dennis Waggoner of Hillsboro; sister, Mary Anne Wright (Terry) of Cornelia, GA; eleven grandchildren, Daniel Phillips, Kristin Wilder, Derek Phillips, Mary Beth Jackson, Brandy Vincent, Josh Clark, Jason Davis, Cody Davis, Brianna Thomas, Andrew Waggoner and Alex Waggoner; several great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 12:00 p.m.  –  2:00 p.m.

The Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with Brother Brad Grosch officiating.

4/21/14 —– Rawlin Cleveland Jernigan, Sr.

Rawlin Cleveland Jernigan, Sr., age 76, a McMinnville, TN resident and
Concord, TN native died April 18, 2014 at River Park Hospital following a
brief illness.

He was the son of the late Roy C. and Nettie McClaran Jernigan and member of
Westwood Church of Christ.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by sister, Mary Katherine Couser, great-grandson, Hayden Colton
Wilcher and mother of children, Jo Jernigan.

Mr. Jernigan was employed with the Department of Defense (Air Force Command
at AEDC and Naval Sea System Command, Dehlgren, Virginia) and Martin
Marietta, Orlando, FL Dept. of Defense.  He was manager for Computer Systems
and Communications at Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC), received
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Tennessee Technological
University and Master of Science at Middle Tennessee State University,
member of the honor society PHI KAPPA PHI.  While working thirty-two years
with the Government he was given the opportunity to preach and work with the
following churches of Christ:  Full time Mission Work for two years in
Germany, Fredericksburg VA for seven years, Russian Mission work (Kiev one
month) and Jail Ministry Central Church of Christ for seven years.

Mr. Jernigan was the loving father of five children, Rawlin Cleveland
Jernigan, Jr., Jan Jernigan Wilcher, Jill Jernigan Ferrell, Paul Randall
Jernigan and Timothy Allen Jernigan and wife, Brittany, all of McMinnville.
He is also survived by six  grandchildren, Chad Wilcher, Connor Jernigan,
Wyatt Ferrell, Zachary Jernigan, Xander Lee and Dayton Jernigan; one
great-grandchild, Dalton Wilcher; brother, Bobby Jernigan of Tullahoma and
sister, Dolores Reep of McMinnville, special niece, Marliene Gipson of
Lewisburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, April 21, 2014 in High’s Chapel
with Coy Hathcock and Eben Gilbert officiating.

Interment will follow in Cothran Cemetery in Unionville, TN.

Funeral services for Lucille Spencer, age 89, of Tullahoma will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Lynchburg City Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 PM till 3:00 PM Saturday at the Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Mrs. Spencer was born in Moore Co., TN to the late Leonard and Naomi Gore Simpson. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Reed Spencer.

She is survived by a daughter, Dianne Akers, two sisters, Katherine Smith and Johnie Clark and two grandchildren Richard and Rhonda Akers.

4/26/14 —- TERRENCE “TERRY” MARTIN SZYMANSKI

TERRENCE “TERRY” MARTIN SZYMANSKI, age 66, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life at his residence on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, following an extended illness.

Mr. Szymanski was born in Hamtramick, Michigan.  He was of the Catholic faith.  Mr. Szymanski was a veteran of the United States Army and retired as a Master sergeant from the United States Air Force serving approximately 22 years. Mr. Szymanski served his country during the Vietnam War. After his military career, he was employed for several years by Symantec in Lake Mary, Florida as a software engineer. Mr. Szymanski was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by two daughters; Lisa Ann Szymanski and Sheila Szymanski. He is survived by his wife, Sue Szymanski of Winchester, Son, Scott (Betsy) of Tampa, Fla., Daughter, Michelle (Gary) Barnett of Spring Hill, Fla. and Grandchildren; Alexis, Tyler and Hailey.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Mr. Szymanski at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 26, 2014, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Visitation from 12:00 until service time at 1:00.  Full military honors will be bestowed.

4/18/14 —- CURTIS “CURT” FRANK DEEDE

CURTIS “CURT” FRANK DEEDE, age 68, of Estill Springs, Tenn. departed this life on Monday, April 14, 2014, at Southern Tenn. Medical Center in Winchester, Tenn., losing his battle with cancer.

Mr. Deede was a member of the Estill Springs United Methodist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving his country during the Vietnam War.  Before moving to Estill Springs, Mr. Deede retired from General Business Forms in Skokie, Illinois where he was employed as a pressman. Upon relocating to Estill Springs in 2007, he was employed in the Maintenance department at the Winchester Wal-Mart Store.  His hobbies were golfing and bowling.  Mr. Deede was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother.  He was very generous with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Deede of Estill Springs, children; Raymond Deede and Michelle (Kevin) Muck all of Washington State. Stacy (Edward) Polizzi of Elizabeth, Illinois and Andrew (Victoria) Heilig of Antioch, Illinois, Grandchildren; Dennis Muck, Alyson Morrow, Nicholas Morrow, Lila Heilig, Redmond Heilig and one sister, Barbara Booth of Kenosha, Wisconsin.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 18, 2014, at the Estill Springs United Methodist Church with Bro. Joe Rutherford, officiating.

Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 until service time at 2:00 on Friday.
