7/18/14 —- Bill Harlow

Mr. Bill Harlow, age 63 of Manchester, Tennessee passed away, Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Medical Center of Manchester.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 18 at 11 AM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. L E Butler officiating.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, July 17 from 5 – 8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Mr. Harlow, a native of El Centro, California was the son of the late Cebron and Eva Jane Wanzer Harlow.

He was a retired U S Army veteran. He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Harlow and one son, James Eczell Harlow.

Mr. Harlow is survived by one son, Robert Harlow and his wife, April of Manchester; one daughter, Amanda Huspen and her husband, Edward of Minneapolis, Minnesota; ex-wife, Connie King of Manchester; three brothers, John Harlow and Kenneth Howard, both Oklahoma and Jim Harlow of Manchester; three sisters, Betty Carmichael and her husband, Roy of California, Linda Adams of Manchester and Tammy Ivey of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Kyle Williams and Colby Harlow and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Haven of Hope, P O Box 1271, Manchester, TN 37349.

7/13/14 —– Dick Langford

flower4Mr. Dick Langford, age 87, of Tullahoma, peacefully passed away Sunday morning at Life Care Center in Tullahoma.

He was born in Robertson Co., TN and is the son of the late Oscar and Bessie Langford. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a son, Dan Langford, 5 brothers, Frank, Horace, Fred, Phillip and Willet Langford, and 2 sisters, Sue Ann Castleman and Karlene Welker. 

Mr. Langford was a desk Sergeant with Tullahoma City police force for 7 years and a Captain with the Tullahoma Fire Department for 14 years. After retiring from the fire department he worked at A.E.D.C. as a craftsman for the Smart Team. Mr. Langford attended Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Kings Cross. He was baptized on Palm Sunday, April 8, 2001. He was very civic minded participating in antique car clubs, radio programs and television shows, American Legion, Parades, museums, exhibits, churches, schools, Habitat for Humanity and the Civic Center. He assisted in building Churches in remote areas, helped many people in need by building handicapped ramps, doing home repairs and building homes for the homeless. In later years, he and his wife Dean assisted the elderly, sick and poor. He and Mrs. Langford were well known in the community for going great lengths to entertain and provide for those not as fortunate as themselves. Mr. Langford was devoted to his family and his community, leaving a lasting legacy of love for his fellow man. 

He is survived by his wife, Mallon Dean Langford, 4 daughters, Faye (Tommy) McAnally, Bettye (Don) Felts, Karren Michael all of Tullahoma, Jean (George) Wade of Ashland City, TN, 9 grandchildren, Dan Langford II, Trevor Holman, Betsy Lynch, David Langford, Mitsy Clendenin, Shirley Earls, Kelly Langford, Dustin Felts and Lindsey Rae McAnally, 13 great grandchildren, Shelby, Trey, Emily, Tiffany, Sydney, Tom, Lucy, Anderson, Daniel, Daisy, Grace, Olivia and Josie, 2 great great grandchildren, Aria and Isaiah. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Tullahoma for their caring and kindness.

7/16/14 —- Odalean Caldwell

Mrs. Odalean Caldwell, age 83, of Tullahoma, passed away Sunday at Life Care Center in Tullahoma.

She was born in Lincoln Co., TN and is the daughter of the late James and Sally Ruth Harrison McCoy. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Lester Caldwell and a step grandchild, Angel Dawn Haley. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Caldwell will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Wesley Heights United Methodist Church.

Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Her body will lie in state at the church from 12:00 PM until service time.

Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM Tuesday at Tullahoma Funeral Home.

7/17/14 —– Gary Wayne Williams

Funeral service for Gary Wayne  Williams, age 52 of Manchester, will be conducted Thursday, July 17, 2014 at
2:00 PM Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Reverend Bob Case and Reverend Don Morris officiating. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. 

Mr. Williams passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.


 
Gary Wayne Williams was born June 13, 1962 in Lincoln County, Tennessee, the son of J.L. Williams and Wilma Jean
Warren Williams.   

He has been a member of the Forest Mill United Methodist Church for over fifteen years.  Gary graduated from Moore County High School in 1980 and began farming.  He loved farming and has been an avid John Deere tractor collector, the proud owner of over 50 Precision Set John Deere Tractors. He was a welder technician for 24 years with Yorozu America Corporation.  Gary was an avid football fan following the UT Vols and especially the Pittsburg  Steelers. Gary was a people person who adored his wife and loved his family and  friends.  He was known to always humbly put others and their well being first. He also adored children and they always  adored him in return.  His caring and  compassionate nature will forever be missed by all who knew him and loved him.


He is preceded in death by a brother Jerry Ray Williams, who passed away in 2005.

 
Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Diana Keele Williams of Manchester, TN; parents, J.L. and Wilma
Jean Williams of Moore County, TN;  maternal grandmother, Edith Warren of Moore County, TN;  siblings, Bobby Williams and wife, Diane of Moore County, TN, Melissa Jolley and husband, Michael of Bedford County, TN, Brenda Hannah and husband Kerry of Moore County, TN and Tonya Weddington and husband, Clay of Bedford County, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.

7/15/14 —- Charles Clark

Charles Clark age 30, of Tullahoma, passed away suddenly on July 10, 2014.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Cecil Guess and adoptive mother/grandmother, Pauline Clark.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Charles Clark of Manchester; mother, Brenda (Steve) Gilliam of Tullahoma; adoptive father/grandfather, Thomas Clark Sr. of Nashville; sister, Amanda (Leonard) Pike of Manchester, Kristi Ferrell of Tullahoma; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 4 pm from the chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Watson-North Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 10 am until 4 pm.

7/16/14 —- Scott White

Funeral services for Scott White, age 50 of Estill Springs, TN will be conducted Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 3:30 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Military Honors to follow.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time of services at the funeral home.

It was Scott’s wishes to be cremated following services. He passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Medical Center of Manchester. 

Scott Douglas White was born January 28, 1964 in San Diego, California the son of the late Carol Jean Foisey. He joined the United States Air Force where he served his country four years. Following his service time, he resided in England for a brief time before moving to Texas and then to Tennessee in 1992. Scott was a simple man who was passionate about listening to and playing music. He and friends started the band “No Commitment” where he was lead drummer and played at several establishments in Coffee and surrounding counties over the years. He was an avid fan of the hit TV series “M*A*S*H” and enjoyed playing X-box. He was a dedicated, devoted, hard working man who loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him. 

In addition to his mother, Carol Jean Foisey, he is preceded in death by his sister, Tandalee Wright. 

Survivors include six children, Robert White of Melton, England; Jamie White of Decherd, TN; Brittany White of Manchester; Tiana White of Decherd, TN; Samuel “Sammy” White of Decherd, TN and Zackary Smith of Manchester, TN; two grandchildren, Kali Brooke White and Maisie Chevelle White; also surviving is his former wife and mother of children, Karen White of Decherd, TN and longtime, devoted girlfriend, Kelly Smith of Manchester, TN and numerous loving friends.

7/14/14 —- Charles Patrick Taylor

Charles Patrick Taylor of Normandy, passed this life on Friday, July 11th, 2014 at West Meade Place in Nashville at the age of 91.

Mr. Taylor was born in Jamestown, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Emma Wright Taylor.

He served his country during World War II in the United States Army and later went on to work for A.R.O. and Calspan as an Instrument Technician and Supervisor.

Mr. Taylor was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Tullahoma and was also a former Mason. He loved to garden and farm and was a master mechanic.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Lee Taylor; and one sister, Blanche Taylor Weller.

Mr. Taylor is survived by two daughters, Kathy Hollobaugh and her husband Randy of Nashville, and Janet Bess and her husband Willie of Readyville, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Jennie Bell Louvvorn of Christiana, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren, Isaac and Elliot Louvvorn; and two step-grandchildren, Sean and Adam Hollobaugh.

Visitation for Mr. Taylor will be held on Sunday, July 13th, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Kilgore Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 14th, 2014 at 4:00 pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Nutter and Vicar Brandon Carlone officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

7/13/14 —- Bobby “B.G.” Askew

Bobby “B.G.” Askew, age 72, passed away on July 10, 2014 at his home in Manchester, Tennessee surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Askew was a retired Fireman at Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) in Tullahoma, a United States Marine Veteran and a member of the Noah’s Fork Baptist Church.
He was born in Warren County to his parents, the late William M. Askew and Deamie Tanner Askew.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Creek Askew of Manchester, TN; daughter, Becky A. Huddleston of Manchester, TN; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Huddleston of Manchester, TN; one brother, Bill Askew and his wife Patsy of McMinnville, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 12:00 p.m.  –  3:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with Brother Donald Gregory and Brother Lynn Anderson officiating.
Entombment will be at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

7/12/14 ——- Laura Armilda Haley Mathis

Laura Armilda Haley Mathis, 76, passed away on July 9, 2014 in Paducah, KY.

She was a native of Cannon Co., TN. and was the daughter of the late Charles Haley & Vera McDougal Haley.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Williams officiating.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm until 8 pm Friday, July 11, 2014.

She is survived by her husband, J. Lynwood Mathis of Paducah; her children, Laura Lynn (Roger) Thompson of Paducah, David C. (Reina) Mathis of Murfreesboro, and Timothy Todd (Pam) Mathis of Cathedral City, CA.; her sister, Joyce Faye Houston of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Micah (Gabriela) Thompson, Mallory Lynne Thompson, Miles (Meredith) Thompson, Kimberly Renee (Tim) Brooks, Haley Elizabeth Mathis, Sarah Lynn Mathis, Jamison Lynn Mathis, William Chandler Mathis, Adam (Brenda) Smith, Dylan Smith and Hannah Smith. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Ila & Lorel Brooks, Harper Smith & Owen Smith.

Armilda was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ in Metropolis, IL., where her husband is the minister. She served as his secretary in ministry for many years in various locations. With a serving heart, she led the effort to make hundreds of dresses for little girls in other countries, donated bears for traumatized children and made foot crème and foot wear for nursing home residents. She taught classes to younger women on how to be better wives and mothers. She also taught people how to quilt and started quilting programs in numerous locations.

Mrs. Alice Kay Jeffery, age 62 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at NHC Healthcare in Tullahoma.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 11 at 7 PM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Jimmy Kesey officiating.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 11 from 2 PM until service time at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jeffery, a native of Coffee County was the daughter of the late George Burial and Carrie Finchum Broadrick.

She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and caregiver. She loved her family and life. She enjoyed cooking and traveling with her husband.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Donald Jeffery; one brother, David Broadrick; and two sisters, Betty Hawkins and Linda Duncan.

Mrs. Jeffery is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Jeffery Sr of Tullahoma; her children, Teresa Jeffery – Taylor and her husband, Greg of Sewanee, Tommy Jeffery, Jr of Tullahoma, Ronald Jeffery and his wife, Jeanette of Tullahoma and Glenda Jeffery VanNorman and her husband, Ted of California; two brothers, Wayne Broadrick and his wife, Mildred of Tullahoma and Ray Broadrick and his wife, Susan of Florida; seven grandchildren, Keith Thompson, Tyler Mason, Tori Jeffery, Blake Dotson, Spencer Jeffery, Kierston Jeffery and Morgan Jeffery and two great grandchildren, Zi and Zeyrin Jeffery.
