Susan Perry McMillan

*Susan Perry McMillan of Tullahoma passed this life on Friday, October 15,
2021 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the age of 79.  No services
are scheduled.*

*A native of Tullahoma, she was the daughter of the late Allen Perry Sr.
and the late Opie Holder Perry.  She was an avid reader and devoted fan of
the Rolling Stones.  She also loved her pet cats.*

*In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Melanie
Roberts.*

*Mrs. McMillan is survived by brothers, Allen Perry Jr. (Mary Cathryn) of
Shelbyville and David Perry of Manchester and sister, Linda Chapman of
Tullahoma.*

*The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Rob Nichols,
Beth Waller and the nurses and staff of the Life Care Center.*

Helen Stone Merrill

Funeral services for Ms. Helen Stone Merrill, age 88 years of Hillsboro,
will be conducted Friday, October 15, 2021, at 3 PM, in the Coffee County
Funeral chapel, with Brad Brown and Robert Davidson officiating. Burial
will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family
will begin at 12 Noon on Friday until time of service at the funeral home.
Ms. Helen passed away on Monday, October 11 at her home after a brief
illness.

Ms. Helen, “Hannie” as she was fondly known as by family, was born on
January 12, 1933, in Manchester, to the late Samuel Emmitt Stone, Jr. and
Rilla Louise Rowland Stone. She was a member of the Bean’s Creek Church of
Christ in Hillsboro. Ms. Helen was employed at the 1st National Bank of
Manchester since her high school graduation for over 40 years, and upon her
retirement, she was the vice president there. After her retirement from the
bank, Ms. Helen worked as a greeter for Manchester Funeral Home and Coffee
County Funeral Chapel. There, she was loved and considered as wonderful
fellow employee, friend, and a joy to be around with her light-hearted
personality.  Ms. Helen loved her family and friends. She enjoyed helping
her beloved husband, Bobby, on the farm, mowing the yard and working in her
flower beds, cleaning, and driving her golf cart. One of Ms. Helen’s
greatest joys was attending events of her grandchildren and great
grandchildren.

In addition to Ms. Helen’s parents, she is preceded in death by her loving
husband, Bobby James Merrill. She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda
Merrill Brown and her husband, Brad, and Linda Merrill Davidson and her
husband, Robert; grandchildren, Randi Brown Kesling and her husband,
Michael, Andrew Davidson and his wife, Haley, Jordan Brown Clayton and her
husband, Kevin, and Jan Meryl Davidson; great grandchildren, Brayden and
Kendall Kesling, Conner and Lexi Clayton, Lily, Bobby, and Sam Davidson;
several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Helen’s niece,
Cindy Nowlin, and nephew, Robert and Jan Henley, for their help in the care
of Ms. Helen during her illness.

Amanda Sue Riddle

Graveside services for Mrs. Amanda Sue Riddle, age 45 of Manchester, will be conducted on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 3:30 PM in the Hopewell cemetery in Manchester. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday from 12 Noon until 2 PM at Manchester Funeral Home. The family will go in procession to the cemetery after the visitation.

Amanda passed away on Monday, October 11 at TriStar StoneCrest Hospital in Smyrna, after an extended illness.

Amanda was born on March 12, 1976, to Ms. Peggy Faye Smithey Gibby and the late James Morton Gibby, in Clarksville, TN. She, and her family, are very active members of the Canvas Community Church in Manchester. Amanda loved everything makeup and hair styling. She is known as a hard worker and a loyal friend, loved by many. Amanda could always be seen with a smile, and it was said that her laughter was infectious and contagious. Some of her joyful hobbies included being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and playing with the family cat, Wittles, and dogs, Roscoe and Coco Puffs. But Amanda’s greatest love is her son, Peyton and her loving husband, Chad.

In addition to her husband of 7 years, Chad, and her son, Peyton, Amanda is survived by her mother, Peggy Faye Gibby of Manchester; brother, Danny Wayne Gibby of Manchester; niece, Danielle Gibby; sister-in-law, Christina Ross and her husband, Frank; mother-in-law, Debbie Dickey; father-in-law, Lannis Riddle; several extended family members, and a host of friends.

Russell Raymond Jensen

Russell Raymond Jensen, ag 51, of Manchester passed away Monday, October 4,
2021.  He was born March 5, 1970 in Harvey, IL to the late Russell Ray
Jensen and Elizabeth Jensen who survives him.  Russell is also preceded in
death by his sisters, Elizabeth Sanders and Elaine Jensen.

The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 12th at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. in
the chapel of Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Wednesday, October 13th with
Pastor Michael Simon officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill
Memorial Gardens.

Russell was a member of Encounter Life Church and loved to sing gospel
music while playing the guitar.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors doing
lawncare and landscaping.  Russell was employed at TE Connectivity in
Tullahoma.

Russell is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Jensen; children, Christopher
Jensen, Kassandra Strickland and Tammy Jensen; Fiancé, Samantha Lindsey;
grandchildren, Charlie, Cory and Anabel Jackson, Frankie Lane Lyrik
Prichard, Thomas Apollo Jensen, Isabella Marci-ann Jensen and Jaraez Alvin
Foster; brothers, Robert, Richard, Rodney, Ronald and Roger Jensen; and a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Margaret Ethel Ward

Margaret Ethel Ward, age 85, of Lynchburg, TN went to be with her heavenly
father Friday, October 8, 2021 at Lynchburg Nursing Home. Margaret was born
May 22, 1936 in Moore County, TN to the late Hollis Farrar and Neil
Hazelwood Farrar. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by
her husband, Tommy Ward; sons, Donald and David Ward; brother, Jesse Farrar
and sisters, Frances Cunningham and Helen Owens.

Margaret was a member of County Line Baptist Church and loved to sing. She
loved to read, work puzzles and she was a babysitter for most of Moore
County.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Monday, October 11th at
Lynchburg Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM, Tuesday,
October 12th in the chapel with Brother Leon Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at County Line Cemetery.

Susan is survived by her sons, James (Valerie) Ward and Robert (Edwina)
Ward; daughters, Betty McCreary, Nell (Paul) Green, Nancy (Jimbo) Reese,
Jane (Greg) McAnally, Deborah (Chris) Ledbetter and Linda (Paul) Young;
brother, Wayne (Donna) Farrar; sisters, Brenda (Charlie) Tucker and Linda
(Joey) Smith; daughter-in-law, Mary Ward (Mike) and Kim Ward; twenty
grandchildren; twenty nine and two on the way great-grandchildren and
special friends, Racheal Young and her daughter Leeann Holston and Wanda
Ward.

Claudia Ines Vargas

Claudia Ines Vargas, age 32, of Tullahoma went to be with her heavenly
father, October 7, 2021.  She was born April 6, 1989 in Albuquerque, New
Mexico to the late Pedro Rangel and Lourdes Herrera.  Claudia loved
spending her time taking care of her family.

Family gathering was held Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.  In following Claudia’s wishes, she will be
cremated.

She is survived by her husband and lifelong friend, Silvestre Vargas Jr.;
children, Angel Isaiah Vargas, April Ianna Vargas and Corey Alexander
Vargas; mother and step-father Lourdes Herrera and Noe Roman; and siblings,
Pedro Antonio Rangel, Maria Lourdes Rocha, Neomi Cody and Noe Roman Jr.

Lynn Neuharth

Lynn Neuharth, age 75, of Tullahoma went to be with his heavenly father
Friday, October 8, 2021.  He was born May 17, 1946 in Watertown, South
Dakota to the late Emil and Margaret Neuharth. Lynn enjoyed crafting,
tinkering, woodworking and riding his Regions bicycle.  Services will be
held at a later date.

Lynn is survived by his son, Matthew Neuharth (Christie); grandchildren,
Abbi McDaniel, Brandon Neuharth, Aaron Neuharth, Madalyn Neuharth, Cayden
Herrod and Elizabeth and Alianna Burbon; brother, Dennis Mennenger; and
sisters, Kay Kleschka and Rita Rasmussen.

Leroy Munsey

Leroy Munsey was born May 31, 1933 to the late Willie Mildred Arnold Munsey
and Roy Munsey. He passed his life on October 8, 2021 at his home
surrounded by his loving family. Leroy served his great country for 5 years
in the United State Airforce. Upon leaving the military, he began working
at Arnold Airforce Base as a photographer. During this time, he received
the Professional Photographers of America, the “Dick” Dickerson Award, the
Southeastern Award, and multiple Court of Honors. He went on to obtain a
photographic craftsman certification, as well as, becoming a certified
Tennessee photographer. He served on the council of the National
Photography Association for 13 years and was a member of the Tennessee
Professional Photographers’ Association for 69 years where he was named
president in 1976. Leroy was very active in the community during his
lifetime. He later opened two successful photography studios where he
served many families and students over the years. He was a member of
Highland Lodge 214 for 62 years, as well as, Worshipful Master in 1969. He
was also part of the Scottish Rite, where he obtained the 32nd degree, as
well as, a lifetime member of the AL Menah Temple. In addition, to the
above, he was a member of the Flying Fezz and the Motor Corps. After
retirement from the base and photography, he became employed with the
Coffee County Board of Education as a bus driver for 12 years. Leroy was a
devout Christian and a member of the of East Main Church of Christ. He
enjoyed riding motorcycles, flying his planes as an instrument rated-multi
engine pilot, living life on the farm, spending as much time as possible
with family and friends and watching the VOLS play football. In addition to
his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Zada Ruth Munsey
Sellers. He is survived by his loving wife, Shelia; three daughters, Vickie
Munsey (Joe), Leanne Munsey Clayton, Tracy Munsey McDonald; grandchildren,
Amanda Scattergood, Kyle Clayton, Sean Mason (Ashley), Sawyer Manson,
Briana McDonald, Ashlyn McDonald; great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Amelia,
Alyssa and Korbin Scattergood, Kaylee Mason, Kelby Barnes, Oliver Barnes;
special family, Steven, Penny, Adam (Kayla), Heidi (Joseph) Barnes. Many
sisters and brother-in-law and an abundance of nieces and nephews.

William Davis Bass

Mr. William Davis Bass, age 81, of Manchester, TN,
passed from this life on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at his residence.

Bill was born on May 28, 1940, in the Oak Grove community in Franklin
County, TN.  He was the only child of his parents, Harry G. Bass and Jeanne
Owens Bass.  The family later moved to Fayetteville and then to Manchester
when Bill’s father began working at AEDC.

Bill met his wife, Susie, when they were both children at a church function
in 1952.   They were married on July 24, 1964, at the First Baptist Church
in Manchester.  Bill graduated from MTSU and attended law school at
Vanderbilt University. He retired after many years of service as the
judicial commissioner for Coffee County.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Sue Nichols Bass, and children
Steven (Lisa) of New Orleans and Alison (Brian) of Manchester, along with
grandchildren Byron Davis Bass of Murfreesboro, Calvin Bass of New Orleans
and Savannah Kramer of Indianapolis.

Visitation with the family will be at Central Funeral Home in Manchester on
Monday, October 11, 2021, from 12:00pm to 2:30pm.  A graveside service will
be held at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens at 3:00pm following the visitation.

John Arthur Wulf, Jr.

John Arthur Wulf, Jr. of Gurley, AL passed from this life on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, at the age of 64. John was born on May 24, 1957 in Battle Creek, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Joyce Wulf; and brother, Jim Wulf. John found strength in his Lord, and took every opportunity to tell others about Jesus. He also loved his church and his family; Tom, Sharon, and Heather Kleinfeld; Patrick, Kristen, and Carter Godsey; John Adam Wulf; Rebecca Jo, James, Kayla, Breanna, Joseph, and Arthur Wulf; Lawrence Edward Andrews III; Johnetta Jo Whyte; Janette, Jason, and Alice Smith; Joshua Jenkins; Jake, Jamie, Samerra, and Sasha Wulf; Jacob and Skylar Shelton; BJ, Shawna, Ryan, and Sayde Denby; plus other family members including aunts, uncles, and many cousins. During his life, John held many positions including welder, marble installer, deep sea fisherman, machinist at Cleveland Pneumatic, a skilled operator of one of the world’s largest rock machines, and most recently a heavy equipment operator at Parton Contractors in Huntsville, AL. Many of John’s happiest moments were spent riding his Harley Davidson Heritage Softail motorcycle with family and friends. Visitation for John will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Faith Lutheran Church, 101 Bragg Circle, Tullahoma, TN 37388. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12:00pm with Rev. Marty Nutter officiating.
