9/6/18 — Michael McDonald

Michael McDonald, age 59, of Cleveland, TN passed this life on Saturday, September 1, 2018.
A native of Fayetteville, Tn, he was the son of the late Fred and Joan Wiley McDonald . He enjoyed people, loved music and loved being the center of attention. He was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff McDonald and two sisters: Mary Ann Henderson and Renia McDonald and Rita McDonald.
He is survived by his wife, Trina R. McDonald, son, Brian Edmiston, sisters, Judith “Elaine” McDonald, Connie Mathews, Sylvia Sanford, Marie Thomison, Jessie Brown Shamichi “Mimi” Bryson, Love Tate and Roslyn Reese and Rena Buchanan, brothers, Fred McDonald, Jr., Melvin McDonald, and Otis McDonald, one granddaughter, Myesha Edmiston and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 1:00 o’clock at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church on Shelbyville Highway, Fayetteville with Rev. John E. Brown officiating.
The Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services.

9/5/18 — Tommy D. Shumake

Tommy D Shumake of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, September 2, 2018
at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville at the age of 71. Funeral Services are
scheduled on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11 AM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with
the family will be Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home from 5-8 PM.

A native of Tullahoma, he was the son of the late Harl and Laura Whipple
Shumake. Mr. Shumake served in the U S Army. He loved singing and had a
beautiful voice. He also had a very dry sense of humor and was very funny.
He had the biggest heart in the world and would help people whenever he
could.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Nancy
Tucker, Helen Waldrop and Bobbie Young.

Mr. Shumake is survived by brothers, Glen and Ricky Shumake, both of
Tullahoma; several nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Ariel.

9/6/18 — Ricky E. Horton

Ricky E Horton of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, September 2, 2018
at Alive Hospice in Nashville at the age of 58. Funeral Services are
scheduled on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 11 AM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation
with the family will be Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home from 5-8 PM.

A native of Fort Payne, AL, he was the son of the late Everett Jackson
Horton and the late Betty Thompson Hatfield. He enjoyed playing horseshoes
and softball. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Mr. Horton is survived by brothers, Wayne Horton and his wife, Nancy of
Estill Springs and Larry Horton of Tullahoma; sister, Glenda Arthur of
Tullahoma; special friends, Brad and Leah Bradshaw of Tullahoma and several
nieces and nephews.

9/1/18 — Randall Taylor

Randall aka “Duckie T” Taylor 61, native of Belvidere, TN, passed at his residence. He was son of the late Lawrence and Sarah Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jesse “Hawk” Staten.

He is survived by three sons, Donya Taylor of Chattanooga, TN; Tyran (Courtney) Turrentine of Christiana, TN; and Derrick (Jessica) Turrentine of Murfreesboro, TN;

Three daughters, Taylor Holmes of Winchester, TN; Nicole and Desiree Taylor both of Chattanooga, TN;

Two brothers, Tim (Sherry) Taylor of Decherd, TN and Wayne (Mattie) Taylor of Tullahoma, TN;

Four sisters, Stella (Charles) Brannon of Winchester, TN; Kitty (Bo) Knox of Lynchburg, TN; Vicki Brown of Belvidere, TN and Lorraine Taylor of Winchester, TN.

12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 12:30-2:00 pm at Friendship Tabernacle with Funeral Services to follow at 2:00 pm at Friendship Tabernacle with Pastor Terry Grayson officiating and Pastor John Patton as Eulogist.

8/31/18 — William Edward Eubank

WILLIAM EDWARD “BILL” EUBANK, age 80, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at his residence losing his battle with cancer to go to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ. Mr. Eubank was born on January 6, 1938, in Warren, Ohio, to the late William Roy Eubank and Abigail Frances Double Eubank. Mr. Eubank was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, PCA in Tullahoma where he was a Deacon Emeritus. He received his Masters Degree in Safety Engineering at MTSU. Mr. Eubank retired in 1996 from AEDC. Mr. Eubank was an accomplished woodworker. He loved his Lord and was a devoted student of the Bible. He loved his family especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Eubank of Estill Springs, daughters, Tammy Underwood and husband, James of Chattanooga, Sherry Eubank of Estill Springs, Holly Perry and husband David of Nashville. Grandchildren; Abilgail Underwood of Hixson, Tenn., Sarah Beth Underwood, Norah Perry and Bo Perry.
Visitation for Mr. Eubank will be held from 12:00 Noon on Friday, August, 31, until service time at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services, with Pastor Leonard Hendrix, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

9/5/18 — Austin Payton Davis

Funeral services for Mr. Austin Payton Davis, age 17, of Manchester, will be conducted on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Thomas Hewell officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 2:00 PM until service time. Austin passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Unity Medical Center.
Austin was born on April 29, 2001 in Rutherford County to Steven and Kim Davis. Austin loved horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and frog gigging. He enjoyed playing basketball, working on trucks, vaping and hanging out with his friends. Austin listened to all kinds of music and attended Bonnaroo each year.
Austin is survived by his parents, Steven and Kimberly Davis; one sister; McKenzie Davis; one brother, Skylar Davis; grandparents; Steve “Daddy Pa” and Patricia “Nana” Stone; grandfather; Steven Davis, Sr.; great- grandmother, Margarette Stone of Indiana; three aunts, Monica “Aunt Monk” Stone (Connie Timbs) of Lebanon, Lori Vickers (Brian) of Texas, Cindy Dunn of Tennessee; great aunt, Marisha Boyle (Jerry) of Indiana; and a host of special friends.

9/1/18–Jackie Dale Reed

Funeral services for Mr. Jackie Dale Reed, age 63, of Manchester, TN,
will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at
Manchester Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial
Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM
on Friday, August 31 at the funeral home. Mr. Reed passed away on
Thursday, August 30, 2018 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in
Murfreesboro, TN.

Jackie was born in Tullahoma, TN, the son of the late Lloyd Ezra and
Olean Parker Reed. He served his country in the United States Army.
Jackie enjoyed spending time with family and watching the news.

In addition to his parents, Jackie was also preceded in death by one son,
Jackie Dale Reed, II; one brother, Billie Wayne Reed; and one sister,
Patsy Ann Reed. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Hill Reed; one
grandchild, David Storm Reed; and one sister, Wanda Louise Reed.

9/2/18–Philip Douglas Robertson

Robertson, Philip Douglas,of Tullahoma, passed this life on
Wednesday, August 29th, 2018 at his home at the age of 63. Mr. Robertson
was born in Tullahoma to the late Mary Scott Robertson and Walter Douglas
Robertson who survives. During his life, he worked as a machinist for
Powers Machine. In addition to his mother, Mr. Robertson was preceded in
death by one son, Kevin Storey. In addition to his father, he is survived
by his fiancé, Rita Storey of Tullahoma; one brother, Scott Robertson and
his wife Regina of Tullahoma; four children, Shannan Mallich (Chad),
Amanda West (Andrew), Patty Bartlett (Keith) and Tracey Gilliland (Josh);
and seven grandchildren, Carter, Jaden, Grace, Braxton, Trenton, Kailey
and Courtney. Visitation for Mr. Robertson will be held on Saturday,
September 1st, 2018 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral
services will be held on Sunday, September 2nd, 2018 at 2:00pm in the
Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Seals officiating. Burial

8/28/18–Ronald Dale Sanders

Sanders, Ronald Dale,of Lynchburg, passed this life on Sunday,
August 26th, 2018 at Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro at the age
of 66. Mr. Sanders was born in Tullahoma, the son of the late Brown and
Willovyne Limbaugh. He proudly served his county in the United States
Army during the Vietnam Era and went on to work in purchasing at UTSI.
After working at UTSI, he worked at Cubic Precision as a Facilities
Manager and had been a faithful employee there for 37 years. Mr. Sanders
enjoyed many different types of hunting, but especially deer and turkey.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Sanders of Lynchburg; one sister,
Lisa Baker of Lynchburg; one brother, David Limbaugh and his wife Angie
of Winchester; three daughters, Regina McGriff and her husband Johnny,
Denise Gravely and her husband David, and Destinee Sanders; and seven
grandchildren, Macey and Kylie McGriff, Kaitlin, Megan, Courtney and Ryan
Gravely and soon to be arriving, Trinity Faith. Visitation for Mr.
Sanders will be held on Tuesday, August 28th, 2018 at Kilgore Funeral
Home from 4:00-7:00pm with the funeral to follow immediately at 7:00pm
with his son-in-law, Bro. Johnny McGriff officiating.

9/1/18–Emily Bobo Weddington

Services for Emily Bobo Weddington of Tullahoma, 94, will be 12 noon
Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma,
with visitation with the family starting at 11 AM. Burial will be at
Oakwood Cemetery. Survivors include her brother, Frank Bobo; sister-in-law
Joyce Bobo; daughter, Carol Ann Patterson; son, James “Jimmy” Bobo
Weddington; five grandchildren: Jennifer Patterson (Jay), Laura Crooke
(Austen), Audrey Weddington (Eric), Brian Patterson, and James Michael
Weddington. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Marie Bobo;
husband, James Carney Weddington; brother, Robert Holt Bobo, and
sisters-in-law Ruby Mae Copeland and Avalee Bobo.
