4/26/20– Mrs. Barbara Sue Brandon

Manchester, Tennessee – Mrs. Barbara Sue Brandon, 76, passed away, Tuesday
April 24, 2020 at the Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was born in Manchester, Tennessee on June 27, 1943 to Charlie Cheney
and Golda Mae Lowery Cheney who preceded her in death along with her
husband, Howard Brandon; daughter, Tina S. Brandon.

She is survived by her daughters, Golda R. (Monroe) Lowe and Sheila Y.
Presley (Dale Smartt); son, Howard Brandon Jr. (Selena Mathews); sisters,
Edna Mae West and Helen Marie Brown; grandhchildren, Brandi (John) and
Brandon  (Blythe) Presley, Joey Wayne (Holly) Bradford and Kendra (Joey)
Baker; great grandchildren, Jasmine, Gage and Carson Presley, Trenton
Escobedo, Joey and Jayden Bradford, Camren Baker and Riley Phillips;
several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday graveside at Rose Hill

Peggy S Carr Warren

*Peggy S Carr Warren of Manchester passed this life on Friday, April 17,
2020 at her residence at the age of 76. Graveside services are scheduled.*

*Peggy, a native of Coffee County, was the daughter of the late Frank and
Hazel Robison Carr.  She enjoyed playing the piano and watching Nashville
Predators, Tennessee Vols and Cincinnati Reds games.  She loved people and
animals.*

*In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe
Warren.*

*Mrs. Warren is survived by sons, Tim Warren (Tina) and Mike Warren, both
of Manchester; daughter, Patti Warren (Bruce Brandon) of Hillsboro;
brother, Charles Carr (Mary) of Atlanta; special niece, Tami Buckley of
Hillsboro; grandchildren, Lauren Crouch (Jay) of Manchester, Ryne Warren
(Emily) of Grand Rapids, MI, Shane Warren (Cailey Alverson) of Estill
Springs, Brooke Morrow of Manchester and Shelby Potts (Koty) of Wartrace
and eight great grandchildren.*

April Kelly Sparks

April Kelly Sparks of Rock Island passed this life on Saturday, April 18,
2020 at the age of 29. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later time.*

April was the daughter of Greg Kelly of West Virginia and Carolyn Kelley
Yates (Tim) of Rock Island.  She was an “Outdoors Girl” and enjoyed hiking,
camping and four wheeling.*

In addition to her parents, she is survived by husband, Raymond Sparks of
Manchester; sons, Tristan Alexander O’Neal and Elijah Wayne Crouch;
daughter, Willow Raelynn Sparks and sister, Crystal Kelly of FL.*

4/22/20– Velma Fults Arnold

A private graveside service for Mrs. Velma Fults Arnold, age 85, of Hillsboro, TN, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Stephenson Cemetery with Bro. Jack Nance officiating. Mrs. Arnold passed from this life on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Velma was born in Alto, TN, on July 24, 1934, the daughter of the late Bailey and Lillie Perry. Before her retirement she worked for Eden’s Industries. Velma enjoyed spending time outside in her flower garden and vegetable garden. She loved spending time with her family above everything, especially getting quality time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Velma is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Issac Floyd Fults; one son, Timothy Floyd Fults; one grandson, Harold Fults, Jr.; one daughter-in-law, Kaye Fults; one brother, Paul Perry. She is survived by her three sons, Richard Fults (Sharon), Harold Fults, and Randy Fults; two daughters, Charlotte Lafever (Kevin) and Regina Womack (Terry); seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Velma’s name to Compassus Hospice, 1805 N. Jackson Street, Suite 11, Tullahoma, TN 37388.

Paula R. Doman

Mrs. Paula R. Doman, age 79, of Manchester, passed from this life on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Paula was born in Escanaba, Michigan, on September 26, 1940, to the late Irving and Vivian Brasser. She was a member of the Women of Moose Chapter 869 in McMinnville, TN, and Meat Cutters Union #546. Paula loved to travel everywhere from the mountains to the Caribbean Sea with her friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her parents, Paula is also preceded in death by her first husband, William Fred Mitchell; second husband, Roger Doman; one son, Duane Mitchell; three brothers, Jim Brasser, Preston Brasser, and Butch Brasser; one sister, Thelma Dennis.  She is survived by her loving children, Daniel Mitchell, Dennis Mitchell, and Dwana Phelan (John); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one special friend, Pat Panter.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Paula’s name to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203, Mooseheart, www.mooseheart.org, or the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Paula’s honor at a later date.

Marvin “Bubba” Timothy Swoape

Marvin “Bubba” Timothy Swoape of Manchester passed this life on Friday,
April 17, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital at the age of 54.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Adam
Duncan Cemetery.*

*Mr. Swoape was a native of Coffee County. He enjoyed spending time with
his son and grandchildren, writing poetry and working on cars.  He was also
a talented artist.*

*He was preceded in death by son, Bryan Swoape and step-father, Wilford
“Tom” Thomas Eley.*

*Mr. Swoape is survived by his mother, Bessie Stacy (Bud) of Manchester;
son, Timothy Adam Swoape of McMinnville; sisters, Tammy Ferrell (Heath) of
Lynchburg, LeAnn Marshall of Winchester and Polly “P J” Blair of
Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Taygan, Taysha and Trinity Swoape and life
long friend, Lisa Bryan Holder (Sean) of McMinnville.*

4/20/20– Joyce Marie Cunningham

*Joyce Marie Cunningham of Shelbyville passed this life on Wednesday, April
15, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare – Shelbyville at the age of 72. Graveside
services are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, April 20 at Willow Mount Cemetery
in Shelbyville.*

*Mrs. Cunningham was the daughter of the late Alton Miller and Nannie Lee
Bowman. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church and enjoyed singing
gospel music and writing poetry.  She also enjoyed going shopping.*

*In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Jerry Garland Cunningham; daughter and son-in-law, Joy and William Janey;
brothers, Johnny Fred Donnell and Alton Medford Donnell and sister, Joan
Rowland.*

*Mrs. Cunningham is survived by sister, Edna Barnes and her husband, Alton
of Shelbyville.*

Robbie Garner Williamson

*Robbie Garner Williamson of Tullahoma passed this life on Tuesday, April
14, 2020 at her residence at the age of 62. Memorial Services will be
scheduled at a later date.*

*Mrs. Williamson was born in the Panama Canal region of Panama, the
daughter of Robert and Barbara Winters Pate of Tullahoma.  She was a member
of St. Barnabas’ Episcopal Church and was very involved in the Outreach
program.  She also volunteered with CASA Works as a child advocate. Mrs.
Williamson loved to travel and she traveled all over the world. She also
enjoyed art. Family was very important to her and she was a Grandmother and
“Mimi” to many children. She also loved her pets.*

*In addition to her parents, she is survived by husband, Mark Williamson of
Tullahoma; sons, Shane Garner (Katie) of Murfreesboro and Aaron Garner of
Tullahoma; daughters, Tiffany Garner of Tullahoma and Sierra Williamson of
Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Frankie Pate (Sherrie) of Pelham and Byron Pate
(Milecia) of Norfolk, VA; sister, Hope Kimble (Jeff) of Tullahoma and
grandchildren, Lily and Holden Gruber, Bre and Nick Garner, Billy and
Coleman Ivins and Gabrielle Garner.*

Benjamin Scott Howard

*Benjamin Scott Howard of Madison, AL passed this life on Saturday, April
11, 2020 in Birmingham, AL at the age of 23. Private family services are
scheduled.*

*Benjamin, a native of Madison County, AL, was the son of Anita Howard and
Jonathan Mabry of Madison, AL.  Benjamin loved sports and was an “awesome”
baseball player.  He enjoyed going to the gym and working out and was an
outdoorsman. He enjoyed boating, fishing, riding jet skis and motorcycles
and skate boarding. He also enjoyed music.*

*He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alan Howard.*

*In addition to his parents, Anita Howard and Jonathan Mabry of Madison,
AL, he is survived by grandparents, Nancy Howard of Madison and John and
Linda Mabry of Huntsville; brother, Sam Howard (Danielle) of Huntsville;
sister, Sherry Davis (Wayne) of Toney, AL; aunt, Brenda Brunosky (Willie)
of Winchester; nephews, Kyler and Kaden Howard; niece, Katie Davis and
cousin, Justin Brunosky of Winchester.*

Sylvia Ann Blackwell

*Sylvia Ann Blackwell of Tullahoma passed this life on Monday, April 13,
2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital at the age of 81. No services are
scheduled.*

*Mrs. Blackwell, a native of Meadowview, VA, was the daughter of the late
John Brown and Okie Prater Hahn.  She enjoyed working puzzle books, reading
and watching game shows on TV.*

*In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers, J.
B., Roscoe, Kenneth and Woodrow Hahn and sisters, Nola Belle Adams and Ella
Mae Wells.*

*Mrs. Blackwell is survived by sons, Jeff Blackwell of Tullahoma and Donnie
Blackwell of Estill Springs; daughter, Jeri Bohanan (Steven) of Tullahoma;
grandchildren, Bobby Blackwell of Tullahoma, Joey Blackwell (Ashley) of
Murfreesboro and Cory Bohanan of Tullahoma and three great grandchildren,
Abigail, Conor and Paisley Bohanan.*
