Trudie L. Green

Manchester, Tennessee – Mrs. Trudie L. Green, 70, died Thursday July 9,
2020 at the Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, Tennessee.  She was born in
Coffee County on June 8, 1950 to Rubin Hensley Cornelison and Emma Jane
Baltimore Cornelison who preceded her in death along with her husband, Troy
L. Green; daughter, Penny Doris Shelton.

She was a member of the Faith Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Sam) Mai; son, Michael Dale
(Heather) Bennett; step-son, Wayne Bennett, Dothan, AL; brothers, Neal
Cornelison, Tullahoma and Junior (Debbie) Cornelison, Murfreesboro;
sisters, Alma “Sue” Patterson, Fronia “Bea” (Delon) Ward, Woodbury and Emma
(Terry) Starnes, Woodbury; 15 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several
nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday in the Central Funeral Home chapel
with Pastor Dennis Deweese officiating with burial to follow in the Rose

Rena Sue Land

Rena Sue Land of Tullahoma passed this life on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family at the age of 67. Mrs. Land was born in Manchester to the late Ira and Susie Pelham Ellsworth, Sr. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Land is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lee England; and two brothers, Ira Ellsworth Jr, and John Perry Ellsworth. She is survived by her loving daughter, Katherine Brinkley and her husband Jeremy; two sisters, Brenda March, and Cherry Smith; and four grandchildren, Kasen and Austin Brinkley, Maey Hensley, and Morgan Underwood. Visitation for Mrs. Land will be held on Sunday, July 12th, 2020 from 5:00-7:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home with a funeral service to immediately follow at 7:00pm with Bro. Tim McGehee officiating. A graveside service will take place on Monday, July 13th at Fountain Grove Cemetery in Morrison at 11:00am. Aaron F. Evans

Aaron F. Evans of Fayetteville passed this life on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Lincoln County Medical Center at the age of 91.  Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Lynchburg Funeral Home with burial to follow at Blanche Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the service time.

Mr. Evans, a native of Lincoln County, was the son of the late Frank and Hattie Mullins Evans. He was a skilled pool player and enjoyed fishing and gardening. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Evans was preceded in death by son, Frankie Evans.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Conda Evans; son, Billy Ray Evans; daughter, Diane Williams (Daryl); four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.

Betty Marie Holden Whitney

Betty Marie Holden Whitney passed this life on Monday, July 6, 2020 at
Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee at the age of
81. Mrs. Whitney was born in Decatur, Alabama to the late Percy and Betty
Patrick Holden. She was a graduate of the University of North Alabama where
she earned a Master of Science in History. She loved music and played the
clarinet in the Coffee High School band. She was a school teacher and
taught in Alabama, Georgia, and New Hampshire and Alaska throughout her
career. She loved participating in many outdoor sports especially,
swimming, tennis, and water skiing. She also enjoyed snowmobiling and
dogsledding while living in Alaska. She also loved football and was a
die-hard New York Patriots and Alabama football fan. As a nature lover and
expert photographer, Marie took many photos of her family, friends and the
places she traveled throughout her life.

She was a devoted member of the Church of Christ throughout her life
attending Nashua Church of Christ in Nashua, NH for more than 25 years and
for more than a decade, Cedar Lane Church of Christ in Tullahoma, TN.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitney is preceded in death by her
husband, Kenneth Whitney; her son, Scott Whitney; and her brother, Edsel
Holden, Sr.

She is survived by her twin sister, Robbie Cherie Holden Gregory of
Manchester, TN; her sister-in-law, Inez Austin Holden of Florence, AL and
many beloved nieces and nephews including:  Catherine Gregory Chambers
(Ray) of Alfred, NY; Edsel Holden, MD (Trudy) of Florence, AL; Anthony
Holden, MD (Barbara) of Memphis, TN; Laura Holden Irvine of Florence, AL;
Caryn Pace (Kenneth) of Pelham, TN; and Gary Eastman and grandchildren of
New Hampshire.. She is also adored by 23 grand- and great-grand nieces and
nephews.

A memorial service for Mrs. Whitney will be held on Sunday, July 12 at
Cedar Lane Church of Christ in Tullahoma, TN. Visitation will be at 2:00
pm, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm.

Minnie Lee Redford

Minnie Lee Redford of Tullahoma passed this life on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at NHC Healthcare at the age of 98. Mrs. Redford was born in Celina, TN to the late Benton and Dovie Reecer Walker. Minnie was a graduate of Tennessee Tech University where she earned her degree in Education. She worked for several school systems throughout her career, including Franklin County and Tullahoma, and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, and a former member of the Retired Teacher’s Association. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Redford is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Thomas Redford, Sr; and twelve brothers and sisters. She is survived by two sons, Lynneth Redford and his wife Brenda, and Thomas Redford, Jr. and his wife Madelyn; one brother, James Walker and his wife, Mary; one grandson, Thomas Lynn Redford and his wife Kristi; and three grandsons, Jeff, Doug, and Nathan Redford. A graveside service for Mrs. Redford will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Rose Hill Memorial Garden in Tullahoma at 12:00pm. Walter Lannie Schoenmann

Manchester, Tennessee – Mr. Walter Lannie Schoenmann, 55, passed away
Sunday July 5, 2020 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born in Cleveland Ohio on September 15, 1964 to Alvin T. Schoenmann
and Argie Earlene Gilliam Sissom who preceded him in death along with his
sisters, Karen Parsley and Mary Jean Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Maryjane Vollmar Schoenmann; brothers, Glen,
David, Jimmy and Daniel Schoenmann; sisters, Elizabeth Bouldin, Patricia
Barks and AnnieMae Walker; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned for a later date.

Shirley Ann Janes

Shirley Ann Janes, 75, of Crestwood, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, July
7, 2020.

She was born on August 9, 1944 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Ruben
and Annie(Brinley) Hatfield.  She is also preceded in death by her husband,
Alsbie Montomery Janes, siblings; L.C. Hatfield, Wesley Hatfield, Roy
Hatfield, Bonnie Hatfield, Dorothy Hatfield, Sally Owens and Clara Smart.

Shirley is survived by her sons, Stephen Dimitri (Melissa), Christopher
Dimitri (Joy), daughter, Candice Gowers (John), grandchildren; Brent
Dimitri (Melisa), Derek Dimitri, Brittany Dimitri (Jay Doolin), Cayla
Wilburn (Casey), Matthew Smith, Corbin Crosby, great-grandchildren and
brother, Willie Hatfield (Alice).

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 11:00 am (CST) until the
time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm (CST) at Central Funeral Home (2812
Hillsboro Highway Manchester, TN 37355) with burial to follow at Forest
Mill Cemetery.

Patti Lenn Prater

Patti L Prater of Manchester passed this life on Monday, July 6, 2020 at
the Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga at the age of 62. The family will
receive friends on Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 12 – 2 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.  Graveside services will follow at 2:15 PM
at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Patti, a native of Indiana, was the daughter of the late Boyd M Prater and
the late Alfreda Rosebery Prater.  She was a very giving and charitable
person who loved being at home.  She also loved animals and enjoyed
visiting the zoo.  She was a very hard worker.  She enjoyed watching movies
and being with her family and friends.  She also enjoyed doing crafts such
as woodburning projects.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by half-brothers,
Bruce and Mark Prater and step brother, Gene “Sonny” Morgan.

She is survived by daughter, Ashley Vanattia of Manchester; ex-husband,
Mike Vanattia of Lynchburg; stepmother, Lucille Prater of Murfreesboro;
half-sister, Susan Prater McLocklin of FL and step sisters, Suzanne Brandon
of Manchester and Mary Jo O’Neal of Murfreesboro.

Due to COVID-19 the family has requested that anyone attending please
maintain social distancing and wear masks if possible.

Ewing Tom Blackburn

Mr. Ewing Tom Blackburn, age 74 years, 3 months, and 17 days, of
Manchester, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2020, at Unity Medical Center in
Manchester. Mr. Blackburn will be cremated, and no services will be held at
this time.

Mr. Tom was born on March 20, 1946, to the late Herbert Tom and Myrtle Jane
Harrell Blackburn in Manchester, TN. He was a self-employed mechanic and he
loved fishing, rabbit hunting, and boat racing.

In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by four brothers,
Verlon, Kenny Wayne, Larry, and infant, Walter Lee, and by one sister,
Velma Sue Johnson. He is survived by one son, Herbert Lee Blackburn; three
grandchildren, Amanda, Jeremy, and Ryan; one great grandchild, Blackley;
one sister, Annie Ruth Melton; several nieces, nephews, and a host of
friends.

Marjorie A. Flowers

Ms. Marjorie A. Flowers, age 88, of Manchester, Tennessee passed away on
Sunday, July 5, 2020 at her residence in Manchester.

Ms. Flowers was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Frank
and Amelia Hart. She was a homemaker. She volunteered to serve at the
Manchester Senior Center. Ms. Flowers was a Roman Catholic, and a woman of
true Christian faith and charity.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Flowers was preceded in death by her loving
husband, Paul A. Flowers; six brothers, and one son (Jeffrey).

She is survived by her sister, Jane Ponder, of St. Louis, MO, and one
daughter, Phyllis Decker of Gainesville, Florida;  four sons: Stephen
(Michelle) Flowers and Robert (Karen) Flowers, of Gainesville, FL, Gregory
(Melissa) Flowers of Murfreesboro, TN, and Mike (LaShae) Flowers of
Manchester, TN; 13 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Ms. Flowers was a devoted, generous and giving sister, daughter, wife,
mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and was loved by all who knew
her.

Graveside Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday at Rose Hill
Memorial Gardens
