Roger Glenn Dailey, Jr

A celebration of life for Mr. Roger Glenn Dailey, Jr., age 49, of Murfreesboro, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2020, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel.  Mr. Dailey passed suddenly from this life on Tuesday, August 18, 2020.

Roger was born on May 11, 1971, the son of Roger Dailey, Sr. and Sandra Gilliam.  He worked as a master barber at Tullahoma “Beaumont Place” for several years, and he more recently retired from the IRS.

Roger is preceded in death by his partner, Robert Borsa; grandfathers, Herman Taft Bush and Hobart Isacc Dailey; grandmothers, Gladys Pauline Bush and Mabel Alene Dailey; uncle, Don Bush; aunts, Ruby Cawthorn and Edna Cooper.  He is survived by his mother, Sandra Gail Gilliam (Dale); father, Roger Glenn Dailey, Sr. (Majuana); brother, Terry Keith Dailey (Chastity); sister, Christine Dailey; multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and dog, Axel.

The family requests that during this time, masks and social distancing are taken place for the precautions of everyone’s health and safety.

Jean Medford

Jean Medford 88 of Estill Springs, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday August 25, 2020 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 am until 12 noon at the funeral home. Malcolm Gardner will officiate. Burial will follow in Welker Cemetery. Jean attended the Pentecostal House of Prayer. She loved to listen to gospel music. She was preceded in death by her husband: J.W. Medford, brothers: William and Larry Beavers, and sisters: Juanita Steele and Virginia O’Dear. She is survived by her son: Mark Galligan Daughter: Judy Brewer Pruett and husband Ron Sisters: Jackie (John) Wallace Darlene (Daniel) Stewart Grandchildren: Randy and Terry Brewer Great Grandchildren: Kimberly, Justin and Cory Step sons: Roger and Jerry Medford Brother-in-law: Ras Medford Special Friends: Pam Jones, Jerry Taylor, Max Huddleston and Ann Harper Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements

Thelma Limbaugh Smith

Thelma Limbaugh Smith, 92, of Tullahoma, died on Thursday, August 20,
2020.  She was born on October 4, 1927, in Moore County, the daughter of
Benjamin and Mollie Limbaugh.  Thelma was preceded in death by her parents;
sisters, Irene Smith and Lorene Burton and brother, Fred Limbaugh.  Private
family graveside services are scheduled and a memorial service will be
announced at a later time.

Thelma was a member of the Hoover’s Grove Church of Christ.  She had many
talents but was a very humble person.

Thelma is survived by Clofton (Pete) Smith, her husband of 71 years, their
daughters, Barbara (Ricky) Smith, Beverly Smith and Bonnie (Russell)
Wright; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Denise Ann Miech

Denise Ann Miech of Normandy passed this life on Tuesday, August 18, 2020
at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital at the age of 69 years. Graveside Services
are scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 3 PM at Rose Hill Memorial
Gardens. Memorial services will be announced at a later time.

Denise was born in Murfreesboro, the daughter of the late Fred and Mary
Caskey Casity.  She was a member of Kings Cross Church where she was very
involved.  She loved to volunteer for various projects where help was
needed.  Denise was an insurance agent and worked for Lester, Green and
McCord Insurance for 31 years. Even though she was an insurance agent, she
was a terrible driver and her family kidded her about her many accidents.
Her nieces and nephews were the “light of her life”.  They kidded and
teased her constantly and she was always a good sport.  Denise was hard of
hearing and due to that occasionally would make unusual comments based on
what she thought she had she heard. This resulted in additional kidding.

Denise was very devoted to her family, especially her sister, Barbara. She
was a “Mother Hen” to her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and
great great nieces and nephews. She enjoyed traveling, especially to
Ireland, cooking and working in her flower garden. She also loved tea
parties. She loved cats and rescued many.  She currently had five rescue
cats.

In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of
26 years, Jacek Miech.

She is survived by sister, Barbara Felts of Tullahoma; nephew, Nick Periut
of Knoxville; nieces, Linda Johnson (Jeffrey) of Tullahoma and Lisa Morgan
(Joseph) of Sequatchie, TN; great nieces and nephews, Matt, Jaclyn,
Houston, Ryan, Cora, Garrett, Jack and Cole and great great nieces and
nephews, Dexter, Emberleigh, Julietta and Josefina.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made in
her honor to the Tullahoma Animal Shelter, any animal rescue organization
of your choice or Kings Cross Church.

Due to COVID-19 the family has requested that anyone attending please
maintain social distancing and wear masks if possible.

Bruce Scott Marchetti

Mr. Bruce Scott Marchetti, age 62, of Manchester, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Bruce was born on November 30, 1957, the son of the late René and Sandra Marchetti. He was a retired United States Air Force Vietnam Veteran. Bruce enjoyed gardening, traveling with his family, and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, René and Sandra Marchetti. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sherri Marchetti; one son, Bruce Marchetti, Jr. (Felicia); three daughters, Sarah Marchetti, Tracy Mulligan, and Michelle Holdridge; two brothers, René Marchetti and Craig Marchetti; one sister, Suzette Marchetti; ten grandchildren, Isiah, Kaden, Bella, Christian, Madison, Logan, Paisley, Jaxon, Ealynne, and Ashton.

Sam Watson Jr.

Graveside services for Mr. Sam Watson Jr, age 82, of Hillsboro, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Prairie Plains Methodist Cemetery in Hillsboro, TN. Mr. Watson passed from this life on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at his residence in Hillsboro.

Hassie “Pebbles” M. Merrell

Hassie “Pebbles” M. Merrell of Tullahoma passed this life on Tuesday,
August 18, 2020 at Centennial Hospital at the age of 56 years. Funeral
Services are scheduled for Friday, August 21 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home with burial to follow at Summerfield Cemetery in Monteagle,
TN.  The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 PM.

Hassie, a native of Monteagle, was the daughter of the late Joe Lannie Hill
Sr. and Josephine Cox Hill. She was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church of
Jesus in Tullahoma and enjoyed being at church.  Hassie impacted many
people and was the cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend
to many.  She was the definition of “unconditional love”. Hassie loved
being with her family and was always the “life of the party”.  She enjoyed
taking unannounced photos of her family and friends but never liked to have
her own picture taken.  She also enjoyed cooking and sewing for her
grandchildren.  She operated her own beauty shop for several years,
Hassie’s Beauty Shop in Monteagle and was an LPN for many years.

In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Ruby Layne
(Tim Layne); Frieda Layne (Wendell Layne) and Troyce Ann Hill.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Merrell of Tullahoma; sons, Jay
Merrell (Mary Frances) of Tullahoma, Evan Merrell (Casey) of Tracy City and
Brandon Merrell (Megan) of Monteagle; brother, Joe Hill (Dannette) of
Lynchburg; sisters, Patsy Foshee (Ronnie) of Monteagle and Wanda Marsh
(Wilbert) of Estill Springs and grandchildren, Dylan, Lannie, Alice,
Bailey, Josiah, Maisie and Mason Merrell.

Thelma Louise Espy Collins

Funeral services for Thelma Louise Espy Collins, age 60 of Beechgrove, will
be conducted on Friday, August 21, 2020, at 1 PM in the Manchester Funeral
Home chapel with pastor Chip Sekulich officiating. Burial will follow in
the Gilley Hill cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on
Thursday, August 20 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Collins passed
away at her home on Friday, August 14, 2020.

Ms. Louise was born on August 23, 1959, in Coffee County, to the late
Herbert and Maddie Mae Green Espy. In addition to her parents, she is
preceded in death by three brothers, James, John Ray, and Edward Espy. Ms.
Louise is survived by her husband, Daniel Collins; son, Stephen Collins,
daughter, Stephanie Steelman and her husband, Cody; eight grandchildren;
and three brothers, Jesse, Rick, and Thurman Espy.

Ronald Edward Grobleski

Grobleski, Ronald Edward, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, August 16th, 2020 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville at the age of 80. Mr. Grobleski was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania to the late Edward and Anna Petrobich Grobleski. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force before, during, and after the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Master Sargent before his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife, Leonora Sheila Grobleski; three daughters, Berit MacRae, Leanne Grobleski, and Jeannie Grobleski; one brother; two sisters; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Grobleski will be held on Friday, August 21st, 2020 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm. Military honors will be rendered at approximately 6:45pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Multi County Cancer Support Network, P.O. Box 1355, Tullahoma, Tennessee 37388.

Judy Gail Douglas

Judy Gail Douglas of Tullahoma passed this life on Friday, August 14, 2020
at St. Thomas West Hospital at the age of 64.  No services are scheduled.

Mrs. Douglas, a native of Hartsville, TN, was the daughter of the late John
and Nellie Stafford. She was an avid TN Vols and Dallas Cowboys football
fan. She liked helping people.

She is survived by son, Dallas Sturgis of Nashville; daughter, Tracy
Covington of Jonesboro, Arkansas; brothers, Jimmy and Johnny Stafford;
sister, Linda Reece; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
