12/3/12 —- Ginger Johnson
Funeral services for Mrs. Ginger Johnson, age 57 of Manchester will be conducted at 11:00am, Monday, December 3 at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Ham officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the Johnson family will be from 5pm until 9pm, Sunday, December 2 at Manchester Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson passed away Saturday morning at her home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Grundy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late William Hughie Anderson and Mary Katherine Patterson Anderson of Hillsboro who survives. She was a homemaker and also helped in the family business. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Wes Butler.

12/3/12 — William Henry Dillard
William Henry Dillard, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, November 30th, 2012 at his residence at the age of 87.
Mr. Dillard was a graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. During his life, he worked as a Mechanical Engineer for A.E.D.C. and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma. He was also a member of American Legion Post 43 and was in the Air Force Reserves after his active duty service.
Mr. Dillard is preceded in death by his wife, Sammie Laura Dillard; birth father, Henry Blaylock; parents, Leo and Alice Dillard; one son, William David Dillard; and two brothers, Jimmy and Tommy Dillard.
He is survived by three children, Rebecca Eloise “Becky” Mahler and her husband Bill of Savannah, GA, Suzanne Banks and her husband Kenny of Tullahoma and Lee Scott Dillard and his wife Mary of Estill Springs; two sisters, Sister Grace Marie Dillard R.S.M. of Savannah, GA and Patsy Munsy of Columbus, GA; six grandchildren, Rebecca Mahler, William Mahler, Clay Banks, Chase Banks, Cheslyn Banks-Nestor, and Chance Banks; two great-grandchildren, Bailee Anne Banks and Gracyn Elizabeth Banks.
Visitation for Mr. Dillard will be held on Monday, December 3rd, 2012 from 10:00am-11:00am with services to immediately follow at 11:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Beaty officiating.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery with military honors.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice Compassus in Tullahoma, 110 East Lincoln Street, Tullahoma, TN 37388-4508.

12/2/12 — JERRY LEE TAWWATER
JERRY LEE TAWWATER, age 72, of Tullahoma, Tenn., departed this life on Friday, November 30, 2012, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.
Mr. Tawwater was born in Fayetteville, Tenn. To the late Herman L. and Thelma Barnes Tawwater.
Mr. Tawwater was the owner of Mr. Used Cars in Tullahoma. He was in automobile sales for approximately 48 years. Mr. Tawwater enjoyed talking with people and was a real “people person”. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie D. Tawwater, infant brother, Richard L. Tawwater and infant sister, Vickie L. Tawwater.
He is survived by his sons; Ricky (Pam) Tawwater, Donnie (Cherry) Tawwater , daughters; Belinda L. Paul all of Tullahoma, Theresa (David) Green of Estill Springs, Tenn., mother of his children and friend, Betty Hickerson Nelms of Tullahoma, sister, Shirley Phillips of Harlan, Ky, special friend, Joyce Smith of Decherd and adopted family, David and Brenda Race of Tullahoma. Grandchildren; Heather Masters, Lance Tawwater, Rebecca (Derrick) Crutchfield, Kenny Thompson, T.J. (Amanda) Smith, Jay (Christy) Caldwell, Amanda Green, Jacob Green, and Brandi Hershman, 13-great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Tawwater is scheduled for 5:00-9:00 P.M. Saturday evening December 1, 2012 in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday evening, December 2, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Jack Lambert officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens concluding the service with a dove release.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Multi-County Cancer Support Network or the American Lung Association by contacting Grant Funeral Services.

12/2/12 — Eunice Marvell Conley
Eunice Marvell Conley, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, November 30th, 2012 at Morning Pointe in Collegedale, TN at the age of 83.
Ms. Conley was born in Tullahoma and was a graduate of Manchester Central High School. She was employed by Tennessee Apparel of Tullahoma for more than twenty years. Ms. Conley later went on to receive her Certified Nursing Assistant License, and worked as a CNA for many years. She was a member of Wesley Heights Methodist Church, Woodmen of the World, The Women’s United Methodist Church, former president of the Manchester CHS Band, and was a volunteer for 2 years at Harton Hospital and 3 years for the Willie Bryan Hill Auxiliary. Ms. Conley served the community for many years as a caregiver. She resided at the Morning Pointe facility, and received the love and care she gave to so many. She enjoyed travel and had been to Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Netherlands, England, Alaska and Hawaii.
She is preceded in death by her late husband of 60 years, Jack E. Conley.
Ms. Conley is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline McMillon and husband Bobby of Sevierville, TN and Janine Garland and husband Scotty of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren, Shannon Williams, Soynia Smith and Josh Garland; four great-grandchildren, Alex and Abby Williams, Addison Smith and Dallas Rotolo, and one great-great-grandchild, Elijah Rotolo.
Visitation for Ms. Conley will be held on Sunday, December 2nd from 1:00-2:30pm with funeral service to follow in the Kilgore Funeral Chapel at 2:30pm with Bro. John Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery in Tullahoma.

Manchester Christmas Parade Huge Hit | Video Highlights
The City of Manchester presented the Old Time Christmas Parade on Friday night (Nov. 30, 2012). The event was sponsored by the city’s Tourism and Community Development Commission, City of Manchester, Al White Motors and Central Funeral Home. The parade had near 80 entries with many floats and automobiles, the high school band and more. Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus wrapped up the parade on the city float. Many people along the route said it was the best Manchester Christmas parade yet and seem to put everyone in the holiday spirit.
The Coffee Co. Sheriff’s Dept. won 1st place in the float contest. 2nd place was the Manchester Rec Center Teen Council and the Manchester City float came in and 3rd place.
12/2/12 — Kenneth Cecil Burks
Funeral services for Kenneth Cecil Burks, age 73 of Manchester will be conducted at 2pm, Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Clayton Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in the Simmons Cemetery.
Visitation with the Burks family will be from 4pm until 9pm, Saturday, December 1 at the Manchester Funeral Home.
Mr. Burks passed away Thursday afternoon at the Medical Center of Manchester.
Mr. Burks was born in Coffee County, Tennessee the son of the late Ed and Connie Burks.
He was a Superintendent at Sain Construction Company and was of the Baptist Faith. Kenneth enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Reed Burks who died in 2010, and by a son Danny Burks who died earlier this year.

Kayla Dawn Qualls, age 23 of Tullahoma, passed away on Monday November 26, 2012.
A native of Tullahoma , Kayla was the daughter of Paul Qualls, Jr. and Kandy Cash Qualls.
Kayla was a factory worker and will be remember by her beautiful smile.
Along with her parents, Kayla is survived by her children,Nicholas Lee Curtis and Amberly Marie Curtis. Brothers; James Qualls, Dillon Qualls and Joe Qualls, sister; Shayna Qualls. Grandparents, Sandy Bunn, Paul and Donna Qualls and Ethel Childers and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Paul T. Cash.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel.
