Manchester, Tennessee – Mr. Coy Lynn Teal, 80, passed away Wednesday June
3, 2020 at the Unity Medical Center in Manchester, Tennessee. He was born
in Coffee County on March 25, 1940 to Lloyd Edwin and Jewell Pearl Freeze
Teal who preceded him in death along with his wife, Rayola Morris Teal;
brothers, Riley, Paul and Ray Teal; sisters, Mildred Williams and Fay
Marlow.
He was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ. Coy was a farmer and
drove a school bus for Coffee County Schools.
He is survived by his sons, Gary (Kelly) Teal, Manchester and Craig (Kim)
Teal, Columbia; step-daughter, Shannon Williamson, Woodbury; sister, Jo Ann
Robinson; grandchildren, Jacob, John Philip, Jamie, Sarah, Braxton
(Autumn), Colton, Jon Mark (Eva), and Whitney; great grandchild, Addison
Grace Teal; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Central Funeral Home
chapel with Minister Charles Williams officiating with burial to follow in
the Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Saturday at
